Over to the right hand side of your post title there is a Options pull down menu. Edit is there.

Grind on.

I've been out of the game for a while and just recently got back into it. At this point, I've noticed that almost everyone running around on Starsider (and I'm sure it's like this on other servers) is Master this or Master that. So how the hell is a brother supposed to earn some Apprenticeship XP? All I want to do is make it to bounty hunter, but now I'm stuck advertising my free training in Starports across the galaxy. I thought I might be able to use faction points to train for Apprenticeship XP, but no dice.

With so many Master level players out there, is there a quicker (or at least less irritating) way to gain the XP without having to beg for people to let me train them?

Find someone with the master pistoleer, carbineer, rifleman, or melee profession tag and ask themif they are using their combat xp on ranged support. If they are not, ask them if it is ok if you teach ranged support 1 over and over until you get enough AP.

Doing BH, and I had no problem getting AP. Just keep your ear open for others asking for training. And don't start litsening when you need master. start early! Even if you overrun it a bit yo cna still keep using carbines and a pistols to gahther XP while you find a gyu needed training. Jion groups....go to Mos Eisly and help out the new chars there.

Not everyone on your server is master. And one reason you might be hurting is because in all that spamming to train your skills. You might have been '/addignore' d (I know I did) Although its a wonder how they can miss the people spamming for training right next to them!

Wow, I had no idea AP had become an industry unto itself. Thanks for the help, folks.

Where is the best place to beg for Apprenticeship XP? I'm so close to finally mastering a profession, Master Artisan, that i can barely stand it! Right now i'm begging outside of the Bestine Starport, any better places?

I'd recomend Mos Eisley, as that's where all the newbies start, so probably a good place to look for people needing training.

I never ask for AP any more - player interaction? pfffft! Pain in the backside more like.

Get a friend on the same server as you who has spare points to grind up to Engineering 3, then they make wind harvys (you provide all the materials naturally) then train them in business 1 thirty times or so.

Takes about 30 minutes to get 620AP this way from start to finish (if your buddy is a decent grinder).

Wearing something like your engineer character tag helps too. Keep an eye on the artisan trainer as well and offer your services to people that go to him/her. You could take a couple of new players under your wing and taken them out surveying, show them the basics of the craft then you will have helped new players enjoy the game and yourself with the AA XP.

Does nobody else have a problem with this? A search on the shipwright forum brought up no topics about it so I guess I am the only one. HAHA.

Why is shipwright the ONLY crafting proffession that needs 200,000 crafting experience instead of 300 Apprenticeship experience? I realize this would help some people and hurt others, but I want to understand why they decided to go this route? Any ideas? Am I the only one who has a HUGE problem with this?

Apprenticeship XP wasn't working as they expected. So they're trying a differnt system for shipwright.
