I chose Human because of the +10 Artitian Experimentation.

1) What is this exactly? Does it provide 1 extra point for experimentation? I am sure it does not provide 10 points and 1 seems to be closer to what I noticed.

2) I understand this bonus does not help medical expermentation, but does it help in any way with Armor/Weapon/Droid expermientation? At the very least it will help with the components on the Artitian tree but does it have any impact on the advanced trees?

1. Correct. Every +10 experimentation skill bonus gives only +1 "experimentation point". The Artisan skill tree works the same way.

2. This bonus helps with crafting artisan tree items only. Electronics GP module, etc...
