Thread: I think that harvesters requiring certification is a good thing....with one flaw
Cafa,
There is actually a "miner" title in-game. Please figure out what profession and tree(s) it is associated with, then come back and claim that artisans "are not miners."
I haven't really worked out where the certs should go for what harvesters. And I'm not opposed to a mining elite profession either. I just think harvester certs are very needed along with a limit to total lots per account and some requirement that the owner be the one to operate the harvester each time it is operated in the sense of resource selection...which the owner can do only if he or she is certified.
Of course the non-crafting professions will be crying about this. That is to be expected. But it isn't really something that fits well with their skill set and the only reason they really do it now is the 10-lot limit per account per server. And the fact that they think they need it to continue their current incomes.

Everyone is entitled to mix and match any of the available professions as they please. Just because you feel it doesn't "fit well" with their combat skillsets, doesn't mean they shouldn't have the ability to do it.
Please elaborate, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. The 10 lots are available for everyone to use as they wish.
Why is this a concern for you? Everyone in this game makes their way through different means. Let people be.
