Ummm... I think you are looking for the armorers, we just use chems, ore, steel, iron, aluminum, copper, gas, gemstone, and wood. Did I miss anything?

First off there are no real Bone or Hide requirements. Just meat. Primarily, Insect Meat, Herbivore Meant and, for Doctors, Avian Meat.

Primary qualities will be as of this week (after teh Patch) Primarily a High Overall Quality followed by a High Potential Energy. (I don't think there are any meats that also have a Unit Toughness rating, but that would be the next stat need, if it had it.)

That's about all I can think off of the top of my head.

Just remember OQ, PE, UT when it comes to stuff for Medical Professionals. Those 3 should be ALL we need (Again, this will be for AFTER the patch either tomorrow or Wednesday,I know we have a few things right now that have a lot of other requirements.)

Hi! Thanks for popping over.

First of all, you may want to read this thread: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=chef&message.id=3202 It talks about how the quality effects our buffs.

Generally, the three main attributes is Energy Potential, Flavor and Overall Quality. If the item does not have all of these (like hide) then we just look at overall quality.

Also, here is a great site that lists exactly what makes what.

  • What attributes or stats on the hide/bone/meat that you use is most important? Again, Energy Potential, Flavor and Overall Quality.
  • For what purpose are these attributes important? They all factor in equally to how successful our food is before we begin experimentation.
  • What specific hide/bones/meat are you most interested in getting? Really, anything would do. Most of our stuff takes any kind of hide or any kind of bone or any kind of meat. Generally we can find use for everything.
  • What are the best quantities (i.e. stack size) for your crafting? Not really sure offhand.

Yep, tht's the ones. High OQ & PE, Avian Meatn, insect Meat and Herbivore Meat (no specific kind, there, just any old Herbivore will do with a High OQ & PE.)

Does anyone else find it amusing that other Correspondents post on our forums more than our own correspondent?

Honestly, at this point quality doesn't matter a whole lot, since the only thing we can expirement on is durability....given that cloths don't decay this doesn't matter.

    Don't need meat at all.

Need WAY WAY WAY more hide than bone. Twi'lek bone crest isthe only thing that comes to mind that even uses bone, and it only takes 20.

    Hide varies, from 10 (maybe even a 5?) to 60 or 80.

There are several things I make that require wooly hide, that is what I always like to get the most of.

There are some items that require naboo scaley hide (thermal boots).

Thats all I can think of right now. Given the choice, I would always prefer wooly hide.

(keep in mind this is just for tailors...novice artisans might want more bone to level up making bone armor (it takes 4/5 ratio of bone/hide or something like that))

brother and sister incest meat is the best...mom/son..dad/daughter is usually low on the taste and high on illegality...

i hear mom/daughter is pretty good stuff but son/dad is pretty poor...

i apologize if i offended anyone...we really need an edit button...

I've just finished all the tier II boxes in tailoring and the only specific animal resource requirement I can think of is wooly hide for wooly jackets, paneled boots and decorative vests.

If I'm buying hides, I go for the biggest stack size I can find on the bazaar, usually about 300 units or so.

Quality is not currently significant for Tailoring, since the only stat clothing has is durability, and clothing doesn't decay.

I'm also a pitoleer, you should check out that forum. We have one crazy active correspondant. So does the BH forum, which would be good for the BH's, if he wasn't 15.
