He's confused about the ore. I don't think he's crafted a vehicle yet.
Should that be:
I don't think he's crafted yet.

Zero subcomponents at the moment. Don't know when they go live (but you can make a good guess it's this week or next). They count as a "General Item" so you use the Equipment factory.
Well I'm set if I want to become a droid engineer (well for the 3rd time) now, with my 500+ of every possible sub that I could think including elite profession subs.

couple of things:
1) 100 terrain nav does nothing to non-prone movement; anything over 50 terrain nav is applied only to prone movement. So, the skills menus says anyway.
2) Even with the lowered resource cost, these are still going to be more expensive than a small house. 4500x3=13500...already more than a small house for the lowest resource model...and I sell most of my good at 5 cpu+ small markup for failures/overhead compensation. 4500x5=22000. I've already got a thriving furniture/city item/master artisan business, so if I don't sell one speeder or bike, I won't realy care, but thereis no way I am going to sell the for a loss.

Based upon my experiences on TC last night, your garage use is going to depend upon how often you store/generate your vehicle. For me that was the biggest hit as I rarely had it out and moving longer than 10 minutes. At these speeds, I went from New Unity to Theed in less than 1 tick and I can't really see trips longer than 1-2 ticks. I was running crafting missions on the Deeja Peak to Moena run so I was storing and generating quite often and I only had to pay about 500cr to repair it that day. It was taking exactly 2cr/point to repair so based upon that,I don't really see it as much of an expense.
Why were you Storing/Generating your vehicle so much? Couldn't you just park it?

I think your reading that wrong... it takes 3 ferrous (steel) to 1 non-ferrous (alum) ratio for a speeder and goes on up but always with more ferrous over non-ferrous.
I wrote it wrong... Ferrous is Steel or Iron.... Non-ferrous is Copper or Aluminum
And Im just looking at Swoop Bike requirements
6400 Ferrous; 1600 Non-Ferrous which is a 4:1 ratio
4 parts Ferrous (either Steel or Iron) to 1 part Non-Ferrous (either Copper or Aluminum)
I know at one time, for the Swoop bike, 10k of Steel was required and 2.5k of Non-Ferrous (Copper or Aluminum), but I dont see in this latest recipe where Steel is specifically required.

Anyone have any sense of how much faster these vehicles will be versus mounts? Does anyone know the MPS speed of a kaduu, for example? Then I could get a sense of speed on these vehicles. I would log into Test and check myself, but it crashes every time I have tried. Thanks.
Human Female scout 300m in 60 sec) (5m/s)
Mounted Male Kaadu 300m in 43 sec (~7m/s)
Human Female Scout 300m in 30 sec (10m/s) (burst run)
Mounted speeder 300m in 20 sec (15m/s)
