This patch was great. I've been casually playing the game since it came out. My character is an Artisan with a few Scout and Marksman skills with the ambition of eventually becoming one of the advanced engineering profesisons (probably Droid Engineer or Architect). I think this patch was actually one of the best things that could happen for the casual gamer. Since it emphasizes use of harvesters after the 2nd artisan tier, it greatly slows down the advancement of power gamers. Now it seems as if harvesting resources has been equalized across the board to a greater extent which puts casual gamers like myself on a more level playing field with power gamers.
However, since the devs seem to want a greater reliance on harvesters as a reusable installation, I think the price of re-deeding should be dropped. 3000 credits to re-deed a wind harvester seems too much. Even with all the resource price gouging currently going on (at least on Bria at any rate), its still cheaper to buy the resources and just make a new harvester when there's a resource turnover. Or, if you've got a good harvester turning out metals, to just take that and make a new harvester.
Overall though, this patch was excellent for the artisan profession. Thanks devs and keep up the good work. We appreciate the patience that you've contintually displayed on the board, especially since a lot of the posters seem to be constantly and inexcusably rude to you.
On the bazaar cap subject, I suspect the cap might be temporary. At this stage of the game, it wasn't planned that players would be able to make or need the high-end items. Once there seem to be more people with the ability to make such items, I think we might see the cap raised or taken off entirely. A temporary cap for this stage of the game makes sense so that new players aren't discouraged by ridiculously high prices. As it is a lot of items cost a metric crapload on the bazaar.
Well, that's my two cents.
