Cant seem to craft Generic crafting tool with a WDG tool, but can when using another GCT

The Generic tool is only craftable with a Generic tool. The 'why' on that is complicated.
And, yes, this means you will never be able to experiment on one.

When attempting a crafting missions, the NPC's will not talk to me, and rather rudely tell me to leave them alone.
