The only other thing I can think of is to be sure you're checking all of the different category tabs within both the generic and food/chemical crafting tools. Aside from that the only other thing I can think of would be to submit both a bug report and CS ticket. Before submitting the ticket you might alsocheck the current list of known issues to see if this one is listed there. If it is, don't bother with the CS ticket, just bug it.


Please let us know if/how this gets resolved so we can keep an eye out for it in the future.

Ok, found them. The bug is that the schematic and data information calls for a generic tool, but actually requires a specialized tool. You don't need to be in front of a crafting station however. Just have to make one of each and look for it...

IM master artisian ,OK so finally got all my loot peices together to make myself a metal recycler YAY i though finally i can melt all those wee stacks of metal into something useful.


Its taken me since the day those recyclers were released to finally get al the peices to make it and with pure inpatience set about making it in ther coronet cantina where i had purchased the last prt i required (funny enough the scematic itself) SO i put in the 4 heating elements and the small motor and the steel iron and fibreplast and pressed nextcrafting stage and :INTERNAL SERVER ERROR scematic revoked appeared and i was like W-T-F? it wasnt a critical failure and i closed the message only to see i still had all components still but the next crafting stage was blacked out? so i pressed back "no messge about losing all ingredients etc up till this point etc" it just went back and there was nothing left in my inventory? No scem, motor, elements nothing all had dissapeared?


Well needless to say i am F**kin Pissed and have wrote a ticket and am waiting to see if i can get my stuff back still have heard nothing.


If the response is "working as intended" well im not gonna bother collecting loot items any more.

I would like to add to the surveying while mounted issue.


When you are not mounted, you can sample a resource. Just type /sample (or use hotkey). Your toon kneels and starts to sample. He will continue to sample that resource until stopped. I usually just hold the right mouse button down to move my toon a little bit and this triggers him to stop sampling. You cannot survey while sampling. So, after sampling for a resource and I get a small amount to check the stats, I just move my guy to stop sampling and then survey for another resource while I wait for the timer to timeout and allow my to sample another resource. This has been the process I use to get a bunch of samples to check the stats of resources.


Now Publish 12 comes out and I can sample and survey while mounted. Yippy!!!! What a relief. I can cruise around a planet surveying my little behind off without using my /dismount/sample/mount macro. However, if you sample whilemounted, you cannot sample or survey again until the sample timer times out. This is very frustrating.


Another issue with sampling while mounted. When you are not mounted and you attempt to sample, your toon kneels down and starts to sample. If you don't aquire a resource on the first attempt, he just stays there kneeling waiting for the sample time to timeout and then resamples. So if you are trying to check the stats for a resource, you just stay kneeling and sampling until you get a small amount of the resource.If you move while sampling, then the "sample" command stops. This is true while mounted also. So if you are on mount and cruising around surveying and sampling, you can only sample on time. Then you have to wait for the sample timer to timeout and wait for the message "you stop sampling" (or something like that). Then you have to type /sample or hotkey again to be able to sample that resource again. This whole process is not very friendly. If you are mounted and you sample, then the "sample" command should stop when you move the mount, just like when you are standing a sampling.


I hope this post makes sense. I can clarify these issues if necessary. But I would like to add that the fact that you can survey while mounted is such a great thing, that I just overlook this small thing about sampling. I just don't sample while mounted

Mcgrega... You really should be more specific. If you have a problem try to be as detailed as you can. No one can help you if we don't know exactly what the problem is. Are the schematics not showing up in your datapad? Are there missing schematics? Are the schematics out of order? Try to be specific.

Mcgrega, I've found the schematics can seem to change when I craft in different locations. What was actually happening was sometimes I was crafting near a crafting station and sometimes not. When you are near a crafting station, more schematics are available to you and they subsequently are numbered different. This can mess up a grinding macro. Also when you train a skill you get more schematics so the numbers change again as well. Perhaps this is the problem?

As of yesterday after the latest publish, crafting sessions are consistently locking up at the 'Downloading item blueprint data from your datapad.' This follows the initial attempt that resulted in an 'Internal server error.' Sometimes the first session will complete normally followed by the downloading message lockup on any subsequent attempts. This happens with or without using a crafting station and for all crafting tools from what I can see. I have done a full scan and repeated reboots to no avail.

Doctor bags are bugged. I createda crate of themin a factory, and couldn't get them out of the crate.


I tried to do them at a crafting station, could make one, it didn't have a timer for producing it, but the second one could not be put in my inventory. When I put the first one up for sale, and took the second one out of the craftingtool, I couln't put it on the vendor, because it said: invialid item. It also seems, that I can only create one item per logging in, the second one will become invalid, no matter what I do.


An augmented feature of CU is, that I can not even create a ticket any more

This has always been this way. it's like foraging, non-auto stack, and there has never been an option to choose.
So, it's not a bug, but could go under requested change.

Hehe... don't assume that just because something has always been that way that it's not a bug. To this day I'm convinced that the no wait time at Theed starport was just a bug that they left in place because everyone liked it so much.


Anyhow, I agree that this has always been very annoying and should be listed as a bug/request to be fixed.

The Doctor bag is not bugged, I can make them, store them and sell them in the bazaar. You need to remember that you cannot have anymore than one bag, anywhere at any time. I found out the hard way whenI wanted to transfer a bag from by bank depository to my inventoryand it would not let me. I had no other bag in my inventory at that time ( not visible, anyway ), but there was one inside my Weap, Droid crafting tool, in the hopperand since my tool resides in my inventory, it counted the bag as one.


Now, here's the bug, I gave 3 bags to 3 different Doctors and askedif they could evaluate the bag. All three could not open it or use it to store medicine, since they don't have medicine anymore ( so I'm told ).


Best to save your resources during this 'bad artisan useable resource spawning period', I have not seen any resources that I can use that have any significant value ( stats ), except Iron. It's been over a month now, all grinding grade. It is hard for me to believe that the spawns are randomand that there is an equal amount of good crafting grade resources. Seems the "grinding grade" of resources is way dominent.
