No, you don't have to be a master artisan to do the quest (I'm only a 4/0/4/0 Artisan). There's no experimentation involved in making the components. I used a Weapon/Droid/General crafting tool; I'm not sure if other tools will work as well.

As for all the others they are not that bad - managed to get them all first time..
- The one with a sound graph, I upped the amplification untill the overall was about the correct hight and then fine tuned, mainly with the bottom value.
- The one with six boxes is a pain, you really have to look hard at the tones, with this one the top slider does the left box, middle does middle, bottom does right box.
- The one with 5 or so sliders is not that hard, just jot down some notes or a little picture, then move all the bars a little and you will know what way they move.

Updated the Guide, also to answer a question. Artisian expirimentation will come into play during Phase 2 and 3.

I just need a couple things clarified...
1) RefinedMineral - Each type requires 20 of the same type Mineral
Is this any kind of mineral? or 20 of either Rudic or 20 Endrine
2) small turret - 10 Energy

1) b) If this can be any kind of Mineral why do we need groups of 10 or20? Wouldn't it be groups of 10 or 5?
2) What's the other ore require for Phase 3? and does anyone have a total of how much we need?
3) Just to confirm... the "small turret - 10 Energy" is either 10 Rudic or 10 Enrine, which ever we want right?

My advice, stock up on a few of the resources while they are cheep, I have seen them listed on the bazzar for 1k each in large numbers, this is down to the fact that they have no use yet.

the refined materials cost 20 of the same name containers.
Ostrine and the Wind Crystal are the Containers needed for Phase 3 I believe how ever i will not be officaly posting that info in the guide until I recieve a conformation.

I havea question about your math then... you said 200 or each ore, for a total of 400. But I am figuring there is a total of 600 Ore.
If both the Energy Component and Refined Mineral are made with Rudic:
Refined Mineral = 20 Rudic
Reinforced Wall = 10 Rudic & 10 Endrine
Turret = 15 Rudic (5 Rudic + Using 10 Rudic for Energy) & 5 Endrine
Total = 45 Rudic & 15 Endrine
So that's 60 Ore total and for 10 Turrets that's 600 Ore.
Is that right? Or did I miss read something?

Now that im using a PC i can update the post, on a Mac you can only type as HTML.
Urg.. I surrender, i messed up you only need 10 components, i should read my own post 
200 of the containers is the miniumyou need to collect, in the sufficient quantities.
