I agree with the orginal post. Cold blooded, but very true and a good game design.

Folks, the point of my post was that people should stop whining and complaining about things that are over their head, or just simply haven't achieved YET.

Go through the Artisan forums, go through the Weaponsmith forums...you get the same, tired old beef about how "I'll never make any money, the Master Weaponsmiths are killing me...", "I can't set up Harvesters, I have no money for it...", or (my favorite) "You're changing the resources, don't do that!" Whine whine whine...moan moan moan...

I'm all for the casual player getting a leg up...however, what's the deal with all the whiney posts? "It's gonna take me 3 weeks to get 3 skill boxes" Duh...yeah...that's exactly it. So work on it those 3 weeks. There's no bug, no problem...it's just the game mechanics.

I just read through the forums, and I find it hilarious that people would rather complain about something than actually going out and putting in the time required for advancement in the game. See, my thing is that I actually LIKE the game, and having people give unfounded complaints about it just irks me.

So maybe I went a little overboard...maybe the game isn't really seperated by winners and losers...but there are definitely those who play, and those who complain.
