I would create a macro, but how do you get around the system message that pops up when a large quantity of resources were found, or whatever and you have to click the thing to get it, or ignore it and continue surveying.

Find a good spot. Mine was next to the BHer terminals in Kaadara 
Then do
/sample;
/pause 20; (might not be long enough but never mind. Your toon will just get the can't sample again yet, until it can sample, so you don't have to worry).
/stand;
/macro sample;
There ya go. This simple macro helped me and gets around the pop up boxes. They still appear but it just ignores them. Your just come back to aloud of them open

/survey;
/sit;
/pause 28;
/kneel;
/survey;
/macro survey;
I thin kthats what i use, ground it once with that already, just need to do it again now on my other toon. /sigh

This was my macro;
/sample;
/pause 240;
/stand;
/pause 20;
/macro sample;
very similar and it alows for the pause needed till you can sample again. As Stevie says, the pop ups just get ignored when the loop repeats.
