Well, the change to harvesters and sampling is a good one. Disposable harvesters and running macrosall night to gather samples was never intended. Bugs and exploits should be fixed. Not for nothing but I am maintaining a house, factory and 5 havesters with no problem.

For all those complaining about not having enough credits, increase your prices to compensate for maintenance costs and resources. If you want to sell houses for 8k or give away equipment then you deserve to go broke.

this patch is not to screw up your proffesion but to fix the FUBARed economy..... u guys macro sampling overnight and others exploiting the resources thru harvesters and not paying up keep ..... grind material out just for exp. points then sell of goods and services for pennies... this has to stop the serious players know that time and resources and making a good product equal money = stop your crying if u want to quit after your month free then do it... there is a large community of players and your play is not needed

Hollie, this wont stop macroing one bit. They did nothing to fix the root of the problem. All they did, was eliminate the casual gamer from any crafting profession. Instead of not allowing a macro delay longer than 10 seconds, they just swing a mighty hammer. I am glad they fixed the harvester bugs. Got sick of seeing flames shooting out of them because they were just being used like a disposable razor.

SOE has already said they will probably tweak it more. Twenty five seconds is a bit excessive. Instead of increasing it 50% like they should have, they increased it 250%.

I am for and against this patch. Fix the 99% issue with harvesters. Lower the sampling times a bit. Keep the power usage. Keep the failures. The patch as it is, has made it a lesson in frustration for the casual gamer who wants to craft.

They simply need to reduce the maintenence costs on harvesters, factories etc. Raph already said they were looking into that. And he also said the machine eating your power and maintenence money when you re-deeded to move it was a bug so that wont be around forever either. Once they make it so you get all your money and power still so you can move them without paying through the nose, and if they reduce maintenence fees then there will be no reason left for people to whine. And as far as making money goes, get some friggin weapon/marksman skills and do some destroy missions. I can grab 2 missions for ~2500 creds each and it's just taking out a stupid gnort lair. I can one shot most of them and I'm only usin a Scout Striker. I dont have loads of cash, but I make more than enough to support 5 harvesters and a wind gen....and I have tons of power to spare plus enough resources to spare to put some up for sale on the bazaar.

Now it takes more action pts to sample and it takes much longer to heal action wounds prior to sampling again......makes reaching that goal of a specialized artisian even more difficult.

I've also noticed that I have more critical failures when crafting (post patch).

The patch fixed a bug. Those of us that were paying our maintenance and depositing power will have no problem with this.

The rest of you were essentially exploiting - now that the system is fixed, you come here to whine about it.

To those of you that are quitting over this - GREAT - leave now, gives me more customers.

This pill may have been hard to swallow for some of you, but in the long run its the best medicine for crafters.
