I got to thinking


I've made lost of Bone Armor Segments in the past and named them for events important to my PC. With the loss of Bone Armor we'll lose uses like this and we'll lose the use to use em as signs in malls and such.


I was wondering if perhaps we coudl geta new schematic to replace it. A draft Schematic Sign. Would use Wood in place of the bone, and keep the metal the same. Wouldn't need to be real fancy and we could just change the name when making it to make us signs. Think you might can get us that Guru?


I was thinking also that it would be nice to have something to replace Bone Armor. Instead of fully functional armor perhaps we could get some sort of Helmet ( like the Rebel Fleet Troopers and the Imperial Navy Troopers used ) and a protective Vest. These wouldn't be true armor, perhaps just giving a very small defense bonus. Just an idea.

That's a good point.

I took novice armorsmith and started to use mabari segments for this since they can be done without organics but I don't know if I'll be keeping that so it would be very nice to be able to craft something like a plaque.


Maybe it could even be one of those multi-craft things like architect fountains and statues where it's a single schematic but you select the exact style in the final crafting stage.


Maybe it could even be classified as a "sign" (the category already exists) and the text could be changed at any time.

One question, not sure if this has already been asked but do humans still get +15 to artisan experimentation as a racial bonus?

I should have full stats for the Artisan foods posted tonight, with and without Bio-Enhancements. Took me a while to assemble the required resources, even from a frog.

I'm still here, sorry for the relative quiet. I'm on a job that's making it a little hard for me to post regularly.

Anyway, I like the 'sign' idea. I used armor segments for that too. I'll take that suggestion forward and see what happens.

I took the Artisan PSG idea forward too, but I didn't get any feedback on it.

What was the Artisan PSG thingy...I didn't see that one...anyway shame they won't act on something, maybe try the helmet and vest idea.....lots of folks wanted those helmets for a long time, I bet folks would get em even if they didn't do more than help 5% .


I hope they'll go with the Sign idea, I sure would like to have some sort of thing like that

Sorry to hear about the lack of response Guru, hope you get some traction with the Sign idea. In fact having those would make things a whole lot easier for some roleplaying events I've been working on

Thanks, that wasn't a bad idea either.


Maybe just lower it a bit more.


A Light PSG. Only half as effective as the PSG I, no subcomponents. in Engineering IV.


Okay I know that want entirely help the poor crafters but I got some more ideas on my helmet/vest idea.


The Helmet and Vest have Kinetic resist on the same level as our Light PSG. ( Meaning half as effective as an armorer item ). The Rebel Fleet Trooper Helmet is worn by some NPCs so the graphics are there, might need some tweaking to work for all races but its there. Vest doesn't take too much, I think there are some looted vests we could use. They wouldn't protect from energy attacks or anything else, just kinetic. No cert needed to use them.


Thus a crafter could get one of our helmets, a vest, and our light PSG and have a chance of getting away before he's killed if he's agroed ( of course if he stands there he's going to get incapped still ).


Still I want those signs too, but I feel we need some low level protection gear.

I'd like to know on this one as well, I have 137 Points right now as a human Artsian, just three away from 140 and 14 pt ..


I get 13 exp points now..on most items it does not matter, but for Power conditioners, and Control units it does help..


and Artsian food items as well


I'd like to hear more about powerup crafting as well, that is the core of my sales..


If they bork pups,I might as well go outta business

Had a question about the "Doctors Bag" I've tried Public,Private and all the diff tools but no bag...I have the Schem but no way to make?
