Actually, 21K for a novice Elite Profession is not all that out of line. It takes 50K xp to get to Novice Smuggler, and 125K for novice Pistoleer. If Usage XP is working correctly, and with the practice crafting option, I don't see that much of a problem with the requirement.

Actually it is WAY out of line. I go out hunting and I get between 100 and 1000 XP per kill (Mostly in the 400 range) I go crafting and I get about 40XP per combine.

Math time.

For pistoleer I need 125 000 XP devided by average and I need 313 kills devided by 1000 (Levisquals give 1000) and I need 125 kills.

For Weaponsmith I need 21000 (For Droid smith its over 28000) devided by the 40 average and I need to make 525 items to make weaponsmith Devided by 70 (A crafting tool on practice gives you 70) and I need 300. Add to that, the fact that I need to go out and find or buy all the resources (10 500 resources for weaponsmith) and we see that making novice weaponsmith is far more difficult and far more time consuming than making Pistoleer.

(I am currently working on becomming both )

I disagree. Sence we have a few UBER weaponsmiths, I say uber becuase they used the factory exploit, no one uses the artsian or low level weaponsmith items. Therforewe are gated from recieving UXP.

Jasarina, good list of bugs! Nice job.

Can I please have my full artsian experment points for Bone Armor Segment?

Iwould just like to clarify my earlier posts by saying that, i think i addressed more than one issue, and to aid submission of problems etc, I should focus one on at a time.So succinctly i ask that;

Manufacturing schematics, contain ALL pertinant information regarding that schematic.

thanks again.

P.S. Garrakk you know you can pick up your harvestors don't you? If not, put in 1500 maintainence credits onto extractors and 3k into power ones, and you can destroy them, you get the deed back in your inventory, hope that helps. thanks to avanis for that info.

I would put the "waypoints going screwy after so many surverys" as TOP priority. This is the most annoying bug for an Artisan right now. Last night I went surveying after a shift and had to relog three times. I run and survey for about 10-15 times and BAM! no more resources waypoint update. During a survey expedition I store a ton of waypoints. I consider this almost a game crashing bug since I have to relog everytime to fix my waypoints.

Oh, and stop complaining about the one point you get for bone armor segment, it's not like you are going to sell Bone Armor by the boat load.Just don't experiment, I usually get 224-274 integrity on segments without experimentation.

I would rather have them fix all the items that don't give any indication of their quality. If you are making Bone Armor you would know fiberplast panels does not show ANY form of quality/integrity.

Jasarena add this one to your list : Fix components such as fiberplast panels to indicate quality/integrity.

I don't know if it is a bug, but often for a day or so after a resource change, I will survey for a new resource, and find it in high density (like in the 80% range) and then when I go to sample, it says the resource density is to low to get a sample.

Also, as a starting armorsmith, I am not sure if it is a bug but I dont get armor crafting XP for making bone armor? It IS armor.

Are you at your cap? It's double the amount of the highest not-yet-trained (but filled) skill box you have.

deeds. as in harvester deeds tib? Harvester deeds grant struture XP not GXP. not entierly sure why bone armor gives GXP but harvester deeds dont but thats just the way it is. as for makeing bone armor CP's to grind to a master profession I think its kind of sad that an artisan is required to do that. they require alot of parts that are difficult to obtain for a low lvl crafter. they usaly dont have high combat skills so harvesting by hand can take a while and they generaly dont have enough cash to go out and buy the equantitys that are required to grind off of. I think something needs to be added to artisan that gives GXP that requires large amounts of resorces that can be obtained from harvesters. as it is crafting tools give the most XP for the items that fit those guidelines.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

To Minder:

1000 for a kill? I'm hunting in the wrong place!

ToDS-181-INTP:

Find a smuggler and sell Weapon Upgrade Kits. I would think that most Masters are concentrating on making weapons. A smuggler needs a WUK for every weapon slice that he does.

I dont think there is any problem with the xp needed to make an elite crafting profession. I am currently novice armorsmith/weaponsmith AND novice architect. And I am by no means a power gamer. If it were any easier than that then everyone would be one. And for the person that cant figure out why it was 6k in beta and is now 21k it's really simple. In beta there were frequent character wipes, they needed the low xp so people could get back up into the professiosn after the wipe relatively fast so they could actually test them.

In terms of actual BUGS, I'm playing right now on Tempest, running around frantically trying to successfully sample a certain resource. I have Surveying IV, and a 25% density site (the highest I can find of this resource) but it says the sample size is too small. This isn't the resource turnover bug, because I can sample other, higher density resources, and only five minutes ago I sampled another resource at 10% (like I should be able to at Survey IV).

I have definately had the constant 'failed to start crafting session', also have had the maintenance 'eaten', and had the resources WP's go screwy after a bit of surveying.
