Thread: Who else is loving the new vehicles?
I am SOoooo loving these things, wish we had room for em all so I could line them up at my complex.
and the trim color for customization?!?! we need that pallette for the main color and ships and everything else we can paint

I wonder if you know that a hula hoop is just a plastic ring. Slinky's are just a little more complicated than that. But the people who own slinky are fabulously wealthy. Supply and demand. I just hope I can meet the demand. Don't care if it becomes my vehicle of choice.

I intended to stock all the new vehicles this AM in game. I made each one and tested them. WOW, major disappointment. And here I was thinking the days of seeing nothing but swoops was over. I am NOT going to even stock these for customers now....it's a dis-service. They are not useful, sorry. They are slow and cumbersome and after everyone has their little fun with them they will sit in the datapad and then when people need room they will be the first thing deleted. Granted, I am losing some sales opportunity but I don't care, my customers come first.

You need a weapon and generic item crafting tool, and be standing in a weapon and generic item crafting station.

They are also Master Artisan level schematics, so you have a ways to go.
I do love these new vehicles. They aren't fast, and most arent pretty (I really like the little one). More than that, they are so new, that everyone seems to buy 3 at time. I can't make them fast enough! It really was fun watching people buy them off the bazzar faster than I can make them.
Now for the bas news: I don't see people buying many of these after the weekend... ther are pretty slow and we are going to see the return of swoop gangs before too long. Make some creds while you can!
By the way... this is exacly what we wer hoping for. We have asked for multi-passenger vehicles for a long time. Granted they could be faster, but I imagine this is limited by technical considerations, not game design. Give the devs some deserved kudos on this one. You can bash them for everything else, but this was a good thing.
I am not ashamed in any way to admit I giggle like a schoolgirl while riding around in my AB-1. It is the SWG equivalent of the Nash Metropolitan.
And I dont think these are THAT bad. Yeah, they are slower than a Swoop, but thats ok. Still plenty fast enough to get around in.
