Thread: Who else is loving the new vehicles?
The X-38 is one nice looking Speeder.

The 'Frogs', as I call them, are nice little landspeeders, they fit two people into a command pod that is barely bigger then the two passengers. Out of the new vehicles, this one is the fastest and most manuerverable.
"Those V-35s are great for the average Tatooine Family, they fit 6 which is usually just enough for a Tatooine family..." - Comment regarding the V-35 "Lars Family" landspeeder
The V-35 is one big Landspeeder. Big and slow. But, they do seat 6 and will be great for long distance journeys for a group to head out to one place. No longer will large groups have to regularly slowdown for stragglers to catch up, everyone piles in and the pilot just goes...
I built all of these this morning and I tell you, they look great.

I was going to make some of the new vehicles and stick them on my vendor. But instead I decided to see what they looked like. I already know what the V-35 looked like, so I went for the AB-1 I generated it and just started laughing. I forgot all about my vendor and jumped into that thing, I showed it off in Theed, CNet, Bestine all over. I couldn't stop laughing. Someone said it looked like a bumper car, which I guess it sorta does.

oki must be blind but i just logged my master artisan on, brought up the crafting tool and go to see if i could craft one... all i have is speederbike and swoop....
what am i doing wrong?

You need to be standing next to a crafting station in order to 'activate' certain schematics. As it has always been for the X34 Landspeeder.
These new vehicles rock something fierce. Have fun!
And groups are 8 people.
Sigh.
cheers guys, yes im master artisan, but when u got there by crafting nothing but personal wind generators, you dont gain much knowledge on the way.

Well, enjoy the novelty on these while everyone wants them. At current speeds and how they handle terrain NOBODY is going to use these for regular game play. They are just WAY too slow. If you and a group of your buddies are trucking out to the Tusken Fort you think your going to want to move that slow? No chance, the swoops will come out as always and it will be follow the leader.
I intended to stock all the new vehicles this AM in game. I made each one and tested them. WOW, major disappointment. And here I was thinking the days of seeing nothing but swoops was over. I am NOT going to even stock these for customers now....it's a dis-service. They are not useful, sorry. They are slow and cumbersome and after everyone has their little fun with them they will sit in the datapad and then when people need room they will be the first thing deleted. Granted, I am losing some sales opportunity but I don't care, my customers come first.
newbie here, would love to craft these for my char. never done a crafting profession and really looking forward to it.
what crafting tool to i need (general?) and what crafting station must i be standing next to lads/ladies?
