i just started playing this game and i dont see the big deal. i think that it is a reward for those who plunked down their coin early on and are no elders in the game. its the evolution of the game. kinda like holding a babe ruth baseball card. i remember my dad telling me how the majority of his 60s era ball cards went into his bicycle spokes and not my college education, but i digress.. .

I don't think i care too much....

But those pre-nerf fwgs... those will be gone after so long. Unlike these harversters, weapons can not be fully repaired. IE if you have one it will probably be a trophy(?). Harvesters last for ever....or can with proper maintenence(spelled wrong). But i don't care either way, i didn't start playing till after they "fixed" it. But if i had one, I would keep it and reap the rewards. Sorry.

My take on it is this:

The game needs more power. I have seen a steady increase in my power costs, up to 2cpu on some desperate days, even though it costs under 0.2cpu to gather it on even a bad spot. Since it helps the game as a whole to have power available to people in mass quantities, anddoesn't seem to be making much of a dent in the prices, I can't see much of a problem with the rare, powerful harvestors.

If people want to spend millions getting these uber fusions, by all means let them.

The difference between the 14's and 25's on a 90% concentration of radioactiveis a whopping 28512 units ofenergy a day.

Even selling it at 2cpu, it will take roughly 35 days just to cover the first 1 million spent.

So if the idiot pays 2 million for a BER 25 Fusion Gen, it will take 70 days just to cover the initial cost of the harvester itself.

I find this very funny.

even with the 2 million spent some of that can be absorbed by the harvestor that you use the power on ... cause you use less to run it.. so i think the 70 days out to recover the cost is alittle over exagerated.. i can make up 2 million in costs very quickly with running 10 heavies on ore. so i guess it all depends how you look at it..

I meant to say, these people who paid 2 millionwillstill be in the red for the first70 days.

Only after the first 70 days, will theystart makingMORE money than with the BER 14's.

And that's 2 months from now...
