Thread: BER 25 Fusion Generators?
This was fixed, mainly because harvesters were actually never supposed to be able to go that high. This, I have no problem with.
What does really surprise me, is that when they fixed this problem, they didn't bring down already existing harvesters to the more reasonable 13/14 maximums, so there are still people out there with massive BERs, mining twice as much as people are able to right now.
These harvesters not only mine massive amounts, but sell for millions of credits each.
Does anyone see this as unfair, and something that should be fixed?

Ok, I have your opinion, but do you care to explain why?
As far as I can see it, we have an aristocracy of people on the server who are using these beefed up machines, and no-one can ever compete with them.
Although this has no bearing on reality, but an example is that Microsoft went to court for this kind of behaviour.
They are benefiting from their longevitiy in the game. Since we, as citizens of this empire, are in a technological regression (When's the last time you could put 80,000 kg of ore in your backpack, but had to sleep in a tent made of hide and bone?) just think of those players as lucky enough to have technology handed down by the 'ancients'.
As for their wrecking the economy. They lead priveleged lives, mostly among themselves, playing games of uber-grinding with macros and hologrinding professions. You and I get to trade and grow well below the scope of their radar screens.
O-Jen
I know someone who could put me out of business with just three or four power harvesters, when i have ten harvesters doing the same amount of work...

But seriously They really messed this game up. The Devs should do a buy back type of thing if they want to remove these kinds of items from the game. It's not any one players fault that they have these godly generators but if the Devs want to level the playing field and decrese the rate at which these resources are being mined up they need to get rid of the exsisting one all across the board. Now I have no problem if they stay in game, if does not bother me here or there but it does bother other people.
You can't implement a new system and expect people to abide by the new ways of doing things if the legacy system is still in place.
Just my thought!
It is becoming like finding a virgin in a whorehouse. The more you have, the harder it is to find the next one.
No, it's the same with weapons. How many auctions for "pre-nerf FWG5s" have you seen? It would take too much time and effort to create queries to edit a huge amount of data. I think it's good that players that "got lucky" be allowed to reap the benefit.
