Howdy all

I totally agree that anyone should be able to paint there rig. If anything, make the kit that you can use it only 5 times or so.

The other thing that comes to mind is the amount of time that could be spent trying to explain to people the colors. All this for a few credits. Sounds like time to take off my Master arch/artisan tag and run around as a Novice Politician...LOL, not to many bug ya when your a politician.

Second, the schematic should not include anything from another profession (I'm sure all the DE+MA will disagree :smileywink. The droid storage compartment can be made at novice DE and you need 23 metal to make it, and I am pretty sure the quality of it wont matter at all. Why include this in the schematic? If you need another subcomponent, take it from the artisan tree.Very fewartisans will buy these from DE's , if they intend to mass produce the kits (not that they cost much anyway). It is just a timesink, again making customizing a vehicle an annoyance (after the initial novelty factor wears off). Why this kit should be so much more complex than the vehicle isn't exactly logical either .

HA!

Try crafting a droid customization kit

Now you're talking!

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

I dont think I will be doing any custom paint jobs, its the same grief that Image Designers go through

That's not grief, that's them doing their job As a Tailor, I know how it is not getting the color just right on the first try, but that's what I signed on for.
