It is however irritating at times.
Those stupid "group waypoints" that don't even work (the closest "group mission" is often reported as 5000 meters away when my mission is right in front of me). Often you'll run across some group member who is color-blind and can't tell a yellow arrow from an orange one and is already pounding on your lair before you reach it.
If your missions happens to be within a certain distance of another group member's mission (around 200 meters I guess), when you destroy your lairs you will split the reward, and you'll also split the loot from enemies. Oh, and no doubt your mission payout was 30K and theirs was 5K, which means you gain 2.5K from them but lose 15K of your own money. And of course people get confused when you try to explain the math.
Or you happen to be driving by a group member's mission on the way to your own and end up getting half of their money. They call you a thief despite the fact you tipped them the money back (accepting the 5% surcharge). If someone else drives by as you destroy your own lair they will refuse to admit they got anything.
The worst thing is the newbie in the party who comes up to you as you attack your lair and starts a conversation about some random subject. You patiently wait for them to go and then finally ask them to go, explaining how they'll end up taking half the money from your mission. They won't understand. Then they'll suddenly decide to help you out and start attacking your lair for you because you apparently forgot to destroy it.
Ah... The joys of solo grouping...
