Thread: Is There A Way To Lower Your Sampling Points?
High quickness will reduce the cost, high stamina will give you more action regen between samples.

Oh, FYI
there is an online manual you can get to from the main SWG page.

They are only getting 3000 a *day* with macros? Well... maybe that is after the nerf. I use a macro now, but I don't leave it going while I'm asleep or at work... just while I'm sitting here in front of the PC reading a book or in the kitchen making some dinner.
I used to have this character, a Rodian, with maxed out Action and Mind. This was before the sample nerf, but she could sample indefinately. She regenerated her full Action and Mind between samples, so she never needed to rest. I let her sit and sample one night while I was asleep, and when I came back to the computer 6 hours later she had exactly 2,250 units of Fiberplast. So, given 24 hours, she could have generated upwards of 10,000 (give me 6 hours of play time and she could still generate 7,250) units a day by hand... with no macro and no overhead costs. I no longer have that character, so I can't see how the updates would have affected her.
dam, all it takes is a few idiots to ruin it for the rest of us.................one day I'm plugging away at 128 and than BAM! 264! this makes my life as a Weaponsmith very difficult and what really ticks me off is that those AFK macro guys GOT AWAY with it to advance where they are now..............
/em laughs and points.
You're a Weaponsmith. I'd love to be one. I AFK macroed a lot for the very simple reason that I can't afford to run harvesters. They cost too much in cash, power, and *in-game* time. AFK macroing was doable while I was sleeping, and didn't cost anything except the occasional death.
Further, how in Emelkartha's 11 Hells are we supposed to use Harvesters when the highest concentration for Steel is right *inside* the Starport?
2 days ago (?) I found a lovely site with high concentrations of bothRadioactive Ore and Reactive Gas (makes sense, too). Guess where? Nestled up against a building in downtown Mos Eisley.
And where am I now? Nowhere near as advanced as you. I still haven't made it to Novice Weaponsmith. Your complaint is "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing". It ain't AFK macro people who did it to you.
OnEclipse / Tatooine.
I found that if you jack up your mind stats (not neccessarily the pool itself, but your regen and what not), and combine it with some minor medical skills, you can just use stimpacks on yourself while sampling. Your mind pool will regain at a significantly faster rate than your action pool, which can easily then be repaired by stimpacks. This, of course, leads to a bit of a question about the use of resources on stim packs, but if you're running an artisan AND medic profession, the crafting experience for your medic class is something you want.

How do people still say they can run a macro overnight. I never get more than about 45 minutes before I am booted. I have tried turning auto AFK off. Anyway, I can sample for just under 15 minutes before I rest for 2. I don't have quickeness totally maxed out, but stamina is.
I get the same thing whats up with that?
