This is probably a bit much. Increasing the damage of crafted CDEFs would get much the same result as moving the Nov.Mark weapons down. I got them up to 62 max (not counting powerup or slicing), and might get a few points more with top notch materials, but they are still well short of typical values for the Novice Marksman weapons. CDEFs are simple weapons, just some metal and chemical... I would be happy to leave the higher weapons to the Weaponsmiths if the CDEFs could maybe be crafted with a single optional component to increase their power. A standard powerup might be built into the gun to permanently increase its base stats, and the completed gun would still use powerups to temporarily boost up.
