I didn't think you could use your General Crafting Tool to experiment. I thought you had to use the Weapon, Droid and General Item Crafting Tool.

So, do you get a much better result making a crafting tool if you use the optional components? I figured they were there for a reason, but haven't been able to find anyone to make them. Or who makes them for that matter.
