Thread: Master Artisan Items
Does anyone know of a good general guideline as to howmuch to charge for master Artisan crafted items,(micro sensor suite)?
I have achieved the rank of Master Artisan and am aware that we can make several new items (control units, power conditioners... etc...). I know that these items go into several items such as crafting stations and repair tools. I have tried experimenting on these items and had some amazing successes, but when I create the item there are no stats stating how good the item really is. My question is... does making better quality items really benefit the item that you put them into, or does it not matter the quality of the sub-component as long as they are included in the final combine?
Also... why would you experiment on the birdcage? Can it hold a bigger bird... lol
Thank you Iryu... Everyone I asked was not really sure of an answer. Now, can anyone tell me thebest stats on these individual items that you have received? Also does anyone have tips for creating the best personal crafting stations... I seem to have hit a ceiling on their functionality (+34) ,but I know that there are ones that are 5 to 8 points better.
I am a master artisan.
I have been trying to make crafting tools and cannot get good results.
I am using good materials, what is missing?
You'll want to build with the highest conductivity (I think) metal that you can find. Once you initially-construct, experiment it to its max.
I can usually get mine to come-out around 13.9 - 14.7 (15.0 being the max).
Good luck!
Experiment.
If you are already use a decent terminal. I use a 32.4 crafting station and can make 11.4 effectiveness tools. I have heard people getting 14s but that is with a +40 station and the best condcutivity metals around.
I've made 14's with the public crafting stations in town. Just need high quality materials.
I'm using 983 conductivity copper and I'm getting 14.49 tools. (I've sold a boatload of them too.)

Thanks guys, it is the experimenting part i think, i'll work on it!
Use your general crafting tool next to a general crafting station. then you will get the option.
