Please explain why 5 - 8cpuis gouging and ripping people off? Do you have any clue how many resorces it takes to make a weapon and what the break down cpu is on them? So in your mind all weaponsmiths are thieves?
Not everyone has the luxery of mining their own resorces. Have you looked on vendors and the buzzar and seen what people sell RAW resorces for? Isn't the TIME it takes you to harvest the resorces and actually craft an item worth anything to you?It certainly is to the customer as I don't hear them complaining.
I'm not saying you can't make a profit at 2cpu.. you can esp if you mine your own. But you as an individual will not effect the economy selling this low. You only hurt yourself.

This is my solution to the problem ,,take it with a grain of salt,, below is what i posted in sunrunner forums and will,, We decided to offer the folks a guarantee that if they brought us the material they would leave with a vehicle,,we are using our droid crafting material as a back up for criticle failers.
I know the requirenments may change and all of that info is kept updated in the rest of the thread that this came from in sunrunner.

This is the bike that Lea and Luke ride on Endor in Episode 6.
Way all the differances between the capabilitys, some vehicles will be all around better on some planets, some will be just what certain planets call for.
Our Vendor for Vehicles and Droids will be Listed on the planetary map under Vendor/Droids/Player Vehicles,,,,,,,,,,,I'm going to try to generate a vendor that wears a plad suit lol

Keep in mind that a fella selling any completed item for 3 credits or less per unit will be sold out within a couple hours and will have no impact on economy at all,, the demand will be voracious,,they'll just get eaten first.

2cpu? The steel and copper I've been mining for speeders has good enough stats that I could easily sell it on the bazaar for 3-5cpu with no risk of a critical failure. 2cpu is idiotic.
I don't know what I'll be selling them for. Frankly, we've only got one patch day, and if someone want's to give me 500K for a speeder so that they can have one with no wait, I'm taking it. Economic communism was a failed experiement, you know?
Vaulnuuthe resources required have been lowered so you will need to re-calc your prices.
2CPU is not idiotic. I am not in this to make money off vehicles. I think everyone, including newbies, should have a fair shot at one. I already have all the money I need. I'll still be making a profit. If I was concerned about making MORE moeny, I would jsut sell the resources. Obviously Iam not concerned about it.
I am more concerned with everyone getting a FAIR price and a good deal and players having a decent chance at getting one. Not all players are filthy rich. I'll probably hit the cantina first since the rentertainers have the hardest time getting any decent amount of credits.

Aye, Got the mssg this morning that requirements had been lowered onTC,, I undersgtand about resorce pricing and all that ,,but keep in mind that I run one of the most buisy Droid buisenes's on sunrunnar and have been sence late august when i made MDE,,my goal isnt so much to sell as many vehicles as possible but to conserve all my rares for droids I got plenty of money too but i dont want to be put out of the droid biz for a month while I wait for rare resorces to spawn again. because i used everything I had to make 50 to 60 vehicles(Requirements at time of original post)..
What I'm attemting to fill the gap for my customers that will come to me nomatter what,,they expect me to be there for them and I will. Guaging my customers is the last thing i want to do and I would'nt do it.
I didnt say charging 2 cr per unit was idiotic,,I just pointed out that people who do that wont be around long and further more wont be suppling anybody regularly for a month with resorces.
As to the resorce requirments change ,,omg ,,thats great news,,but I'll still be charging a set price in the range of 6.5/8.o to 1 depending on the vehicle.
Anyways good luck to you all on Race Day,,I just know ,despite all the good intentions it will be a mess.
