For the discerning hunter looking for spawns, the speederbike is the best vehicle in-game. It is particularly good for people looking for the Hero quest spawns, Gurk and Giant Kimo spawns, or anything else rare. Here's why:
The swoop - while very fast over open terrain, is so fast that the game cannot usually generate a spawn in time for you to se what it is. As a result, it is "spawned" after you are out of radar range many times, and you miss whatever the spawn was going to be.
The speederbike, on the other hand, is at *just* the right speed that things will spawn and you can quickly inspect them. It is faster than a landspeeder so if you need to get away for any reason you get that extra speed boost.
Some of my guildies were frustrated because they could never find Giant Kimo spawns on Lok outside of Kimo town. After I told them the speederbike trick (they were using swoops), they found 3 in the first day! Really - tell your customers this - each of my toons always has one speederbike in their pad (and usually one deed in their backpack) just for spawn hunting.

I sell all three lines of vehicles. The quality % is what is most important to my customers. I just finished a factory run of 60 basic Landspeeders and starting on one of swoops. The key is variety. Offer differing qualities of all vehicles and you will hit everyone.
Can you elaborate on the differences between a 50% swoop vs a 95% swoop? Is it a HAM difference or a decay difference?
I'm just now getting back into the game and would like to learn.

I sell more speederbikes then swoops/landspeeders, but even then it's close.
Of course, I'm selling mine at lower prices then anyone I've seen yet (14k for swoop, and 70-hi80s %) so, not like crappy ones
I figure even if my customers buy them off me to sell them at hiogher price it's win-win situation
As far as what people have said when I sell them (I dont put them on vendor, I sit in town and yell) that speederbikes have the speed/repair rates that are the best

I found that speeder bike sales are on the upswing since the night sisters started attacking rides again. Speeder bike are a tiny but tougher then swoops alot cheaper and a bit better on dathomir. A lot of pvpe prefer the speeder bikeand order them by the case.
X34 are just not fast enough to my great surprisse while on a harvestor run a very large cat ran me down in anX34 (greater plains stalker on corellia) the cat ate my speeder and sent me to the clone tank.

Everyone loves the swoop, and some have even discovered the "secret" of climbing hills without very much terrain negotiation. Speederbikes make annoying noises and are the "newbie vehicle", i've never yet seen a Master (insert mastered title here) ride a speederbike because newbies get them, or because of point 1. Personally, I use the landspeeder for good ol' Star Warsy roleplaying.
My experience in selling vehicles: I sell 3 swoops for every 1 speederbike or landspeeder i sell.
Cheers!
i've been a master tailor for quite a while and i only use the speederbike, i love the look, i love the sound, and its a well balanced
means of travel.

I havea bike shop outside Theed, and my sales are about 20/2/1 for swoop. speeders and X34's.
I sell swoops by the crate (5 per). Tried it with speeders and X34's but the crates didn't sell so I split them up.
Swoops make the vast majority of my sales. The rest are just an occasional sale here and there.
Cheers,

i agree with everyone on the vehicle selling ratio of about 3 swoops to every 1 speederbike
the x34 landspeeder does have one huge advantage over swoops and speeders but only for creature handlers - the pets can keep up with them easy. so i usually keep a couple on the vendor, 10k or less.

do you sell the crates more so then the "single" bikes?
I sell about one or two +5 swoop crates a day, on average, and about 5-10 swoops. So I guess it's about even.
