Well. They still missed our guild architect. Also: Is there anything on the correspondent's board that mentions something about the type of support people get that are banned without them having a clue why? Since getting told by phone as well as in-game tickets that the only way they're handling it is via email, while you haven't had an email to begin with, and no reaction is forthcoming on any emails you're writing, isn't exactly very promising.
TIA,
Mad.

You cant tell the difference. And SOE has gotten fairly good about sniffing out credit dupes, so I doubt youll need to worry about it.

Ya, just distance yourself from anything or anyone that's even joking about it. There was a mass banning a while back that got a lot of people....

You will also find numerous "Credit Farmers" server-to-server. These individuals get paid 'x' amount of real money for every hour. Ussually, around 78 cents/hour. All they do is group and do money runs all day. If you find any, write their names down and sumbit it to SOE.

I don't believe the credit farmers are truly 'duping' credits though. They are earning credits by in-game methods for the sole purpose of selling those credits for real cash. I believe duping credits is some scheme whereby a person creates credits through some form of hack of the system, not by generating mission payouts before completing the entire intended mission.

Right. Credit farming and credit duping are different.
I think the point of the person who brought up credit farming was that its another activity that if you see someone doing it you should be wary of dealing with them.

Yes, I know the difference. I was just telling him to watch out for 'Credit Farmers.' Dangerous people who are still disobeying SOE EULA.

Selling credits for RL money is against the EULA. Like eBayed jedis. SOE doesnt do much to stop it though.
