I ended up paying 950K for mine, as I had seen no others for the last few days any lower. It hurt..alot, but I love my BARC. Stupid Sith Shadow...:grumble:
So now I made my brother grind Artisan, and I will collect resources for it. And work on lowering prices. Or be greedy, up to him really.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not suggesting that Artisans are charging too much for something they can make cheap, I KNOW the resources are not cheap. My issue lies with SOE. This one wasn't thought through.

BARC Speeders are 'normal' vehicles in the sense that, when damaged (but not disabled) they can be repaired at a garage, like normal. This isn't a bug.
The kit is for 'rezing' the BARC. That is, when the BARC is destroyed/disabled, the kit will repair it allowing you to use it again.
There has been talk of repair kits for other rare vehicles such as the jetpack and the AV-21.

Yes, I am aware of what the kits do. You're missing the point. If your barc gets disabled, it costs you anywhere from 100 to 300k for a one time repair kit to fix it. Given that swoops sell for less than 20k with a 1500 ham, you're MUCH further ahead to buy crates of swoops and use them as disposable.
As for the bug, it lies with the fact that I can repair my "disabled" barc at any garage. Kind of defeats the purpose of repair kits.

i dont make um.. but honestly why are you complaining??
either get the rock and give it to an artisan.. most.. not all (vendor jockys excluded) would be happy to make one for you..
2.. soo you gotta pay 100-200k.. big deal its only credits you can make more.
People pay lots of money for skins.. RIS is a big one /shrug
looks at disabled AV-21 with no repair kit.. /cry
