Thread: Barc Kit for 300k?

Going thru the global search the cheapest I found was 300k. Only two available btw on search. I noticed there was no repair numbers.
Are these unlimited use?

At one point the average price on bria was 500k. I even saw one dude selling them for 1 mill. I wonder if he sold it for that price.
I stopped trying to make these. I don't have enough hours in my day to mine the asteroids... its either relisting my old junk on a vendor or this.

well on starsider some one took there BARC speeder to the garage and got it repaired...ain't that just grand.

easy to do when it aint disabled. LOL. Mine was disabled in 1 shot, and tatooine has those "secret" spy enemies running around, so it can happen easily.

All of this depends on what you are forced to pay for asteroid resources....and dont forget that we are competing against SWs for the resources. One MSW was paying as much as 200cpu for space rocks.
1500x200CPU=300k
and that is with NO profit margin.

I dont mean to use this as a advertisement, but i am going to sell mine for probably like 100k each, when i get enough resources, this is on corbantis though

Even 100k is too much. SOE didn't think this through. Simple math here, if you sell these repair kits at 100k, or let's say even 50k, people would be stupid to buy them. The barc is no faster than a swoop, the barc also has only 1500 ham. Given that a good swoop (2500+ ham) sells for 30k, cheaper if you buy 1500 ham swoops, you would be MUCH further ahead to just buy crates of swoops, or if you're an artisan, much cheaper to make swoops than barc repair kits.
As for the garage repair, yes, I have repaired both my barcs that were disabled at a garage. It cost me nothing.

Speed isn't the point. The reason people are willing to pay millions and millions of credits to get a BARC and hundreds of thousands of credits to repair one is that they're rare, not that they're a great vehicle.

Hopefully this is a bug that will be fixed because I agree with what's already been said, if you can repair a disabled BARC at a garage then the repair kit is pointless.
