Hey all,

It seems borked to me. It should be using Artisan experimentation.

I'm checking with the powers that be about it now.

I just hope they fix this soon. I was very disappointed yesterday to see the messed up experimentation. I don't mind using the ship tool, since we make them anyway. We already use the food and chem tool for food and the clothing and armor tool for bone armor so using the ship tool makes sense. It least is does if we use artisan experimentation like we do with the others and we know they can set it up that way since they have for the other tools.


Anyone else notice that although Tiggs posted thepatch notes pertaining to specific professions in their respective forums, she didn't list the tool change here even though it was an artisan issue? I think it was on the shipwright list. I don't mean to start flaming the devs but I think it shows that the powers that be aren't really thinking of this as an artisan issue even though they made it an artisan schematic. They're too concerned with all the other new JtL stuff. In the overall picture it's not a big issue even though it is a big issue to us. That's why I'm sure they'll change it once it's pointed out, just hoping it doesn't take too long.

So get a droid with a ship crafting module. I've got two crafting droids, one with WD&G and Ship Crafting, and one with Food, Armor, and Structure modules.


And they take a ton of resources and use OQ & CD because all of the other ship repair tools do that as well. It takes 400 some resources to make a paint kit for a ship.

Any word on this yet?? I don't want to make a factory run of them yet if they're goin to be changing them yet again.........


And they really should be on the WDG tool, not the damn shipwrights too! I said this before the patch went thru, no one said anything, now it's done, ppl are realizing, and crying out! (those that know about em)

I had to have a laugh at this one when I tried to craft one for a mate, first craft got a critical on assembly, second craft got a critical when I used my uBer 1 pt of experimentation lmao. Glad to see it's being looked at.
