Naa your reponces dont bother me at all.. i love a good debate. But let me add to some of your coments
1, The solo groupers, my point was these people bring ungodly amounts of credits into the game there for can afford using a av-21 on dath, cuase who cares in an hour they can buy a new one. The general population would never cuase we would not want to lose that pirceless vehicle.
2,I wasnt talking abouit using total crap to make an Av-21. i was talking the difference between say a 88 and 99 the difference is soo small trust me on this. and like i said if the point came that it matter it wouldnt help anyway.
3, youir point about only wanted the best is really my point. most people wouldnt nkow best if it struck um upside the head.. Like some guy a while back takling about his uber composite saying it was better than this other guys,, cuase it had a few % more in stun which is just not the case, consitering armor peircing and sheild gens,, i dont need to get into it, but it had over double the ham,, something like 500-350-480 verse, 1000+ in each.. you could explain to your blue in the face why this isnt true but people believe what they want.
4, as for people paying the same amount for a 88-99 that just aint the case.. its acually funny to me. i could put up a 99 swoop for 75k and it would sell. i could post on right next to it thats 88 for 30k and people will say im ripping um of for a 30k swoop. /shurg thats why i dont sell um. I could use my uber resources and make something worth a lot more per unit than i ever could in a vehicle.
5, shipwrights and architects have this same problem. People paying to dollar want the best? well it couldnt be more true in these professions. Hopper size is huge to a miner and the difference between a good one and a bad one is big, but people wont pay the extra to get the larger hopper, and cry if the things cost 5 cpu. same for ships. I make ships with a 98% mass exp how many you think i sold for 10 cpu?? NOTTA.. they dont care about the extra 500-2000 mass and buy from joe-shipwirght for 1 cpu.. Not sure why people are soo obsesede with vehicles in this way when 2 complete other profs people dont really give a crap. except for bragging rights, My swoop has 150 higher ham than yours..
6, % has no effect on speed, and vehilces can be repaired unlimited number of times. I lost one vheicle like a week after they came out cuase i didnt know that agro would attack it. stupid pirates, chock that up to leason leared. Since then i have had the same vehilcle which is coming up ona year now. I spend lots of time on adventure planets, dath, endor, yavin, lok, dant.. and never came close one time to losing it. /shrug not sure why people have such a hard time.

Ohh PS, i wasnt really putting you down or saying you where braggin about the 99. Sorry if that is what you thought.. it was really about all the other points i made, hope that clears it up : )

Hmmm, higher tick for lower quality?? that one ive never heard but you have me currious now. Im gonna give that a try, Ill make one with zero xp points and total crap maybe 10% and ill make a good one. and ill see what happens,,
If this is the case then i guess it would be worth using good stuff. but still ill stick by my guns and say 10-15% really wont matter. but if there is a tick difference ill test a 80 a 90 and a 99 ill post my findings later this week..

Hmm, didn't think there would be any more responses. I looted the powerplant in a quick, and I mean quick dash into the armory to loot it. I had SBDs all over me. I was lucky enough to get it into my inventory and then I died. I've been up about nine times to the corvette, and I've been lucky twice in getting the powerplant. Since I doubt I'll be going back soon, I wanted to get the best possible AV-21 I could. That and the fact that the powerplant is the hardest thing to get on the corvette at all. The AV-21 is the best vehicle in terms of speed, climb rate and HP degradation. It is only natural that I would want the best vehicle to race with once the new racetracks are added! Every planet will have one someday...

as i said, it was very unscientific, but when i started my first toon, i did it to be a master artisan because i thought selling swoops was a good way to make money, and it can be, but it wasnt a get rich quick scheme like i thought it might be.
anyway, even though i was new, i did understand about degredation and garages and the maintenance that vechicles required and i tried to pay attenetion to my swoop, that i was making enough, so i wouldnt end up having to pay more money than i had in the bank to fix it and keep it out of watto's junk shop.
i would watch it tick off hp and payed very close attention to what it cost to get it fixed. for a couple of weeks or so.
when i started a new toon, i never thought about it at all, until i saw it tick off for 50 hp one day, then i started to paying attention, and saw a lot of 50 hp ticks.
if you think about it, it is the durability that you are experimenting on, so it would make sense that it would degrade less over time than a cheap one, but you could also think that they all decayed at the same rate.
and so we are back to where we started, if durability does affect how fast the hp ticks off as well as the total amount of, its obviously worth it to buy quality vehicles. unless you expect them to get destroyed everytime you go out hunting, then you should go buy crates of the cheapest bikes you can find.

Oh, this makes me glow, and I have to share 
I routinely make the AV-21's that my partner and I sell at 99%, and they come out to 2994hp. However, one time, and ONLY one time, I somehow achieved 100%. My jaw dropped. I have in my possession a 100%, 3000hp av-21. I have absolutly NO idea how it happened, I was sitting where I loaded into Theed Space port, with a droid out so I could craft a pair of powerplants I'd just gotten.. Did not use port or crafting cakes, and I didn't have the extra points that I do now, just the base amount for a human.
So it is possible to get perfect results... you just need good materials.
I have Kammris Iron with 1000SR, and some conductive bora<somethingorother> copper that's 985sr, that I use for these.
As to who cares? I do. I take huge pride in such a small thing as one extra hitpoint for my speeders when I make them 
I even sell for what I think is the lowest price on my server (2.2-2.5million for the 99%) but I guarantee that seeing 2 speeders, for the same price, the customer will take the higher quality one.
