why waste good stuff on um unless you find some rare ass steel that has all suck stats except for shock?? Soo you get what an extra 200-300???
I don't consider any resource that I use wasted because it essentially cost me nothing to begin with. I usehigh quality materials in my vehicles because I mine them myselfand it doesn't cost me anything extra to mine the good stuff. Could I sell that good stuff for more than I make off of vehicles? Maybe, but that would make me a miner and not a crafter and crafting is what I enjoy.
People braggin about there 99 vehicle i dont care what it is, its a waste any smart person is gonna just repair slightly sooner
I hope you don't think that's what I was doing. If it came across that way I apologize; I try not to brag. The man asked a question and I was simply providing him with an answer. Anyway, what's there to brag about? So I can pull two bits of metal out of the ground and slap them together. Big deal.
and BTW who even uses there vehilce on a planet that it would matter,.. ohh yea wait all those solo mission people.
I guess I don't understand what you're saying here; that only solo groupers use their vehicles on the adventure planets? Does everyone else walk then?I've never exploited by solo grouping, but I spend plenty of time on Dathomir, Endor and Yavin IV and you'd better believe that I'm always in my AV-21. Ride a swoop over those hills on Dathomir on my way to Aurillia? Geez, I'd go insane.
Sorry if that sounded wrong, but honestly come on people does you +even 500 max HP does it even mean jack?? Soo i FIX AT 70% instead of 65... which is all the extra gives you
In the long run does it mean anything? Probably not. I did hear a report that the number of times you can repair a vehicle is limited, but I've only heard that from one person so I don't count it as fact. However, if that were true I think people would start to caremore about the maximum condition of their AV-21s. Anything else is easy enough to replace that it stillwouldn't matter.
You will never use even 10% of your ham if you are passing by getting attacked.
Not true. A Nightsister can do a nasty area attack and take out your vehicle in one hit. A friend of mine lost his AV-21 this way. But you're right, quality couldn't save him, I believe his was a 99% that he'd made and it didn't stand a chance.
In the end, for the most part, I agree with you that vehicle hit-points don't matter a whole lot. I sell only 90% and above vehicles because it's a quality issue and I like to be known for my quality products. I want people to know that I put the same level of care and quality into all of my merchandise whether the stats actually make a significant difference or not.
Just as an aside, I also do not charge more for the higher quality vehicles; since the resources cost me the same anyway I feel that it would be dishonest to do so. The only time I've ever raised my prices was about six weeks ago when I opened two vendors south of Coronet. The vendors were selling out too quickly for me to keep up so I just raised prices by 5k per vehicle and it slowed things down a bit.
By the way, your rant is forgiven provided you can forgive my need to retort. ![]()

Ummm...all of that seemed to just come out of left field.
In other words, the topic didn't really involve pricing of vehicles, or having to have the highest HAM vehicle possible. It was just a simple question asking what the max is for an AV-21. Given allthat goesinto getting an AV-21, I'd want the best I could get out of it, too.
It'd be better than having a 1500 HAM AV-21 because you used terrible resources, and instead of looking all nice and cool it's a flaming wreck after you ride in it for an hour to two.
I understand not liking the fact that so many folks in this game want "the best or nothing." But you kind of went off on a tangent with the rant.
It happens, it's all good. Just cut the AV-21 folks some slack.
They very well may have gone into the Corvette 20 times just to get a powerplant - and quite logically would want the best they can get out of their hard-earned loot. It's not their fault that they don't understand vehicle crafting and experimentation on it - that's our job ![]()
