I disagree about condition being energy packs, the condition takes forever to run out. A energy wouldn't last a fraction of the number of shots most of these weapons will shoot.

Buffed players can just fire special after special at no worries of running out of HAM. This is really stupid.


I would like more flexibility added tothe weapons. Like a combat medic creating a component that adds poison to the weapon, or a bio-engineer adding acomponent for dizzy effect, or a weapon-smith component that adds increased range, damage, accuracy, or a doctor component could have a Debuffing effect. I know all you people only play the game buffed will hatethis idea.This would be an optional component that the owner of the weapon could more customize the weapon.


I know Uber characters don't want anything modified that would nerf their character. But energy packs would make you think about your attack and no just automatically spam special after special with no thought about weapon type or ammo level.

I was hoping with would be an interesting topic to discuss for artisan, but no one seems to want to do anything but criticize you being a noob, or just say no, with no reason.


Why do people bother replying if you are not going to discuss the subject matter.

Well I put in a suggestion along with 100 other people that Artisans should really be the ones harvesting inorganic materials and not everyone(harvestors) and we should be the only ones capable of mass producing items in factories.


I also put in a suggestion to make an increased survey range at master artisan.


I will put in a suggestion in this very thread to ADD MORE FIREWORKS! I love the fireworks they for me make artisan worth it. Add some fireworks. Add some automation for making firework packages(its way too tedious).


On top of all this throw in some GCW advantage to being an artisan like battlefields were. Really adding anything else that in uniqie to artisans will just make the majority cry for an artisan nerf and we DEFINATLY dont need that. SOE has the statistics though and if in fact artisans as a whole are useless or not as useful as the majority then we could definatly do with some added schematics and toys.

Umm think of the poor noobs that just joined the game and have a crappy CDEF pistol that they now have to buy energy packs to power! I doubt the whopping 100 credits they have when they start is going to buy them some energy for their gun. Hmm I am trying to think of how many shots I had to fire to kill a single gorg when I started the game..........ya this is a bad idea plain and simple, so sorry if you take that as a flame as it is not meant to be.

Start a new character since the Mos Eisley starting point. I did and after playing only 2 hours I had 8500 credits. The DEVS get a big thumbs up on starting new characters.

Money is not an issue of noobs.

there are probably other ideas people might have to add to the list of things artisans can make..even thoughthe idea of "ammo" just isn't a good one in the opinions of the majority (really..not a flame i swear).


Perhaps even fixing some of the things that artisans can already make such as vehicle customization kits. If paint lasts on a Dodge Dart for 30 years why is it that a society with space flight can't make paint on a swoop bike last longer than 3 days? This is why no one wants these things, they are a huge waste of money, and require a component you can only get from a DE. . House paint would be fun if it lasted for a bit too lol


In the meantime, you are missing out if you aren't selling megatons of control units and microsensor suites to other crafters that skipped master artisan. And powerups are always good for a buck.

Hey there,


Basically, you're wrong.


I've just made up an order for 500 units of Energy Distributers, and 500 Power thingies (can't remember specific name).


I'm selling these at a measly 200c per unit.


Which makes me 200k. For no work. At all.



I buy 999 or 1000 Conduct Copper on the Bazaar, 1k units for 6k.


I then make 99% Armour Repair kits, and sell them on the Bazaar for 5k each. Each cost me 90c to make, I sell for 5k.



How are you *not* making money with a Master Artisan?
