Depending on resources used. Most of the time between 20k and 25k, but I'm thinking about going to 25k between 30k.

I only sell swoops, no market for landspeeders and speeders. I sell for 14k, and I only use cruddy resources. Probably end up around 60-80% depending on what resources I happen to have on hand. I do all my own mining and do factory runs (you can fit 50 swoops in a crate, but only 10 pups?).

The idea of making landspeeders and selling them for 6k on the bazaar is a great idea, by the way.

Made the mistake, when I first hit Master, buying the resources at 3-6cpu. Which worked out at about 40k cost to make (excluding the resources lost in making the schematic). This resulted in a Swoop 98% experimented (2447/2447 condition, 35% kinetic resist, 25% rest). Put them on my vendor for 45K. Sold like hot-cakes.
Now I make all with less quality materials, mine some myself and mine the power myself. Put them on the vendor for 40K and they still sell well.

Swoops 40K
Bikes 20K
Landspeeders 9K

You really can't get a good feel for prices in this profession forum. Since each server has a different economy. In one server you will see Swoops for 20k and on another for 50k. You should go to the trade forum for your server and ask there. That will give you a better feel for your specific server.

I am on Wanderhome and continuosly sell out of 96% Swoops at 50k. I may up my price to 55k

I usually sell 90%+ vehicles with the following prices:

25k Swoops

15k Speederbikes

10k Landspeeders

I mine my own resources to keep costs down.

If I get some nice metal that gives me over 95% durability, I'll sometimes up the price to 30k, since the metal's that much better.

Pretty much the same pricing I use.

I saw 99% Swoops for sale today at 300k! Kinda out of myprice range.

When i started SWG a long time ago swoops were 18k in mos eisley and now you'll be lucky to find one lower than 24k tbh anything over 24k is just greedy and those idiots selling over 30k you just want your bumps feeling.

Just take a look at your prices people .. 10k for an X 34.. just take a step back and have a good think who is going to buy one .. new players thats who but do you honestly think they will spend 10k on an X 34 ?.

With the solo nerf and the lack of a good way to earn money don't you all think prices should be coming down instead of going up ?

get a grip you lot.

To be honest, vehicle pricing is server dependant...so whether you paid 18k at one time or 6k at one time...it doesn't really matter. Second, that was then, this is now. Third, many people do not harvest their own resources. Because of this, speeder prices must go up. If you want to flame someone, try flaming the people who sell the resources. I for one harvest my own resources. I sell X34's on the bazaar. I never sell a speeder for more than 30k. I spend alot of time and effort going around and finding resources to make speeders with. That time is worth something to me. My prices may not be the lowest, but they are deffinately not the highest. If you don't like our pricing...by all means, get Master Artisan and make them yourself.

erm i am a master artisan and i am making them myself and i gather my own res myself and its not all that time consuming to survey and put afew harvies out so in no way does it justify selling a swoop for 30k.

when i was a master artisan i did it for tips and had the person pay for the resources used.

anyway, buying out someones lesser priced vehicles is why we cannot have vehicles for the newer crowd . if someone stocked their vendor with something a newer guy could afford but then someone who doesnt really need the bikes, buys them all only to resell them at a higher price, well you see the problem that creates.

The problem is everybody is sat around thinking 'oh people still have large bank accounts with loads of money spare' which isn't true because new players join all the time and just don't have the reserves that some of the older players have ,so keeping the prices high just makes things like swoops out of there price range which in turn will result in less sales.

Old players leave and new players join all the time and keeping prices at last years prices just makes the game a whole lot harder for new players.

Lol, I thought that looked familiar. I actually spent a minute looking over the numbers doublechecking the accuracy before reading the accompanying text.

It's too bad Sony doesn't put the experimental % (durability rating) right on the deed. Once you understand the numbers, it is surprising to find out how many artisans are lying about the quality of their vehicles. What's even sadder is that many of the customers don't have anything to go on but the crafters word, so the crafter can get away with it for a long time. Meanwhile, they are riding around on 30K credit vehicles that can be disabled by a dirty look from a nuna.

Prior to the introduction of the uncapped SR on JTL Perovskitic Aluminum, the absolute max on Swoops and Speederbikes was 2470HP at 98% and AV21/X34 capped at 2960HP at 97.35%. Yet it was not uncommon to see auctions and spam for impossible* 99% bikes and 98-99% AV-21s. Back then, one person was spamming 98% Swoops (impossible on Bria), so I asked what the HP was. Their reply was something like 2372HP (91%). When I questioned them further, their justification was that it was 98% of 2400.

*blink* *blink* *boggle*

They reinforced their logic by calling me stupid and ignorant and that they had been trained by someone far more intelligent that me and they saw 98% in the experimentation window and I wasn't there so I don't know what I'm talking about, blah, blah, blah, etc, etc, etc.

More recently, I saw a bunch of 98% Swoops on a vendor for around 25-30K each, so I bought one out of curiousity. Undeeded it and the HP were around 2200 (80%). I was so disgusted, I just destroyed it on the spot. I guess I should have reported them, but to be honest, I don't really understand how to do the whole customer ticket/report thing.

In happier news, Bria currently has a spawn on 995 SR Perovskitic Aluminum (and I've got nine harvesters sitting on a 97% concentration of the stuff)

*there is a rare bug/exploit (non repeatable AFAIK) that will allow you to push the experimentation limits beyond theoretical max as defined by the resource caps. One guy on Bria (Crash') was lucky enough to get hit with it while making an AV-21 and got it to 100%. I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes with a perfect 3000HP. I've been hit with it a couple times as well, but it always went the opposite direction and what was supposed to be a 97% vehicle capped around 87%- grrr! You win some, you lose some I guess.
