Thread: Why??? V-35 Why?

Why would you even travel with a whole group in that thing, its so slow, mainly meant looking nice it would seem. Everyone probably has a swoop on this game, and if you dont, just buy one for 20k.
Because in PvP, you can roll up in a cheap Landspeeder, take a leisurely cruise around the city without zipping past everything, find someone who's Special Forces (or a group, preferably), then BAM!
One arrow on the radar makes the opposing forces think they have a straggler about to roll up. They start to move in. Suddenly one vehicle arrow on the radar turns into 7 Special Forces players of the opposite faction.
They're actually quite ingenious for this purpose.
I suspect the ability of such a "surprise" attack is what made the Devs drop it to 7 people. You are penalized 1 group member to be able to essentially explode out of one vehicle, clown car style, and bring the element of surprise to the battlefield.
That's been my perspective, at least.

Right. Remember, if you buy 8 packages of hotdogs, and 10 packages of buns, you get an even number.....
I'd prefer that someone tell me why I can't see when I'm flying it in 1st person....

I think you ment that the other way. 8 buns and 10 dogs. -Indene-
Ummmm, sure, lets go with that.
Anyone want to step up and tell me why you can't see where you are going when flying in first person?

Is that so different from a minivan?

Yes, my minivan has a windshield that hosts 28 inch wiper blades.....this thing is like driving a car with the hood up....
Also cuts down on
"where are you guys? wp plz"
and
Vehicle maintenance. 1 ride 7 people vs 7 rides 7 people.
and
some guy always has something slower, now, even if you are going slow, you end up all geting there sooner than if you'd gone separately.

I've found the MP vehicles helpful in that if someone in the group needs to run AFK, they can just hitch a ride from a groupmate and be "taken care of" in the way to the next area.
But I've got to get my hunting partner a new one. I'm just too embarassed to keep riding in that oversized rollerskate of his.

hmmm I did a test with all the rides expet the flash speeder... set up a race droid and ran the track in every vehicle ( 13 waypoints with hills and sharp turns ) I ran the exact same time with the ab1, V35, xp38 and x34. So I wouldn't say its slower....It just feels slower becuase of the size.
