I'm going to only go with pistol right now.

Like many others have stated (and Han as well) I want to have a decent weapon at my side should I need to defend myself. I won't go looking for fights but I want to be able to fend off bugs or animals that come after out while I'm gathering materials.

I haven't done all the skill points on paper either so I can't say how high I'll go with it.

I'm seriously considering Master Artisan, Tailoring, and Novice Pistol. If my calculator was right, I ought to be able to do all that easily. If you want to play around with what's possible, try the skill calculator I have posted at Warcry:

It's on the playerguides page under "newbie". It's still a work in progress, but the skill pts should be accurate.

I think pistol. Its excellent at both short and long range, has only a 10% defense penalty, and Bodyshot is an excellent special move.

As Han said, "Ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a good blaster at your side kid"

Take up your china doll, it's only fractured - and just a little nervous from the fall..
