I think it shouldn't be SO EASY to just ANYONE to just drive a a garage a pay to repair. We artisans should have to actually repair them with maybe a new tool for a decent mechanic's fee. What u think?

EXCELLENT IDEA, help those artisans out with their money woes. The main problem is people will take off the artisan title cause they will be getting tells asking for vehicle repairs....Great idea, i'd love it if it got implemented, i like paying other players for things, i despise garages and needing a trainer for novice skills for this same reason.

I've never understood people turning off their titles, or going anonymous to avoid doing tasks that only your profession can do. Like clerics or white mages in fantasy games going anon so they don't have to rez. I like helping people, I wouldn't mind fixing vehicles, at least is a source of income.

Hate to say it but I quit making and selling vehicles. It is not cost effective at all. Most people are only willing to pay 30k or less for any vehicle.

For the amount of metal that I need for a bike, i can make over ten combat probots. I love to hear from people that have made a profit selling vehicles. I always wanted to be a vehicle dealer but it seems counter productive.

I sell my vehicles for 20k, 30k, 40k for 90%+ experimentation. I have a shop near a garage in a player city near the Tusken Fort on Tatooine. I sell about 1/day on average. Some people buy 3 or 4 at a time. Nearby are vendors selling them for 5k, 10k, 20k. I still sell mine. I think it is the quality, the location near a garage, and the fact that many people don't see a difference between 20k and 40k when they have 50M in the bank.

My prices have not changed since vehicles came out. I've consistently sold them, albeit at a slower rate than many. But then, I'm getting almost pure profit since I mine my own steel. I made 1M on vehicle publish day and probably another 4-5M since then. This is on Tempest so YMMV.
