Great is reserved for games that don't force you to grind to advance, nor to grind to pay for your adventuring, nor to be a FOTM to compete in PvP, nor to want for features that should be intrinsic to your profession (ever see a smuggler... smuggle?).

IF I thought that there was the tiniest chance that a dev cared enough to even acknowledge the existance of non-combatants, or that TH would ever let an artisan comment past him to the relevant dev (still in the dark as to who our dev is Guru?), or that a discussion with the non-combat community would ever begin - I might care enough about the game to continue. I do not, and I do not.

If JTL gets INCREDIBLE reviews, you may see me again here - if not, hopefully I'll bump into some of you in another MMORPG one of these days.

As things stand SOE has not earned my $150 for the next year, I'll spend it elsewhere.

I too am a programmer and I've been playing this game on and off for a year but you cannot say that this is good coding. A year ago the problems in the game were ok but to go a full year with thousands of people playing and paying and still have broken proffs and no real progress when it comes to fixes the amount of bugs in this game. I've been coding for 7+ years and the lack of maintaince shows the lack of care in this product.

After a year, after 4 months of jedi-dom, I have finally had it with this game. This is posted here to show the devs that one can walk away from the saber, it's easy to do once you really think about it. I had such high hopes and a great love of this game when I started. Ill never forget the first time I saw Jantje in Anchorhead so many moons ago, the thrill of hearing and seeing that saber.

Wrought with risk. That is an acceptable thing. I can handle the risk of being attacked because Im a jedi, I can stand to have consequences in place if I make myself known on an excessive basis. What can absolutely not stand, is that for all my hard work, all my dedication, to be wiped away on the whim of another player, when I havent done anything intentionally to deserve it. It's not right , and its not fair. This is a game. WE PLAY JEDI TO HAVE FUN. I dont care what you say about us Jedi, what you fail to realise is that we are humans just like you , behind the avatar is a person with real emotions, do not make the excuse for griefing us that its our fault for being jedi and that we should die. We worked hard for something, and god damn us for wanting to have fun with what we sacrificed for. Sacrificed yes, thats what we did. We sacrificed our time (sadly) to work the hardest in this game for something. At the heart of the matter, again we are people just like the griefer Bounty Hunters. I wish you could feel what its like to have what you worked so hard for erased.

This game has been mis-handled by SOE. Ruined. In some ways I feel jedi should have never been put in this game, if not I feel that the jedi path should have been completely random and stumbled upon. Im not talking random as in random professions, im talking completely random as in the game generated a unique list of things a person had to do to get jedi, from obscure NPC's down to entering random buildings across the galaxy.

As for your customer service... Wow, I have never come upon a team of more worthless, lazy , excuse making, random answering, incompetent , here-to-collect-the-paycheck people in my life. Im not saying this to insult you, I am a customer who has worked in customer service for a long time. I have done what you do, and if I did it the way you do it, I would have a list of many terminations. Just because were talking with you in text on a chat room , does not mean that you are to ignore us when we ask to have a CSR intervene to stop a BH from corpse camping. I deserve what I ask for and I dont ask for it to often. My money paid to you says I deserve it.

I call upon you all who are dissatisfied with this game to rise up. Your voices can change the face of this game, more importantly , you too have a cancel subscription button that SOE keeps a close watch on. They may not listen to our voices now , but im sure they will after they talk to their wallet. Jedi is not your reason for living and you can let it go. Even if temporarily, you can make your concerns known with wether you keep your subscription running or not.

Im done with SWG for good. As a matter of fact, im done with MMORPG's for good. I will never dedicate as much time to something like this ever again. It has nothing but bad results.

Finally, again I cant stress enough. WE FACKING PLAY JEDI FOR FUN. FUN. DO YOU UNDERSTAND, NOT TO BE GRIEFED, FOR FUN. Fix it SOE.

Good post... What these bounty hunters don't seem to realize is if all the jedis quit, or refuse to play their jedi... then what do they have left? Nothing. I should have my padawan status by next tuesdays. the sad thing is I can't play it.. within 30 mintues of gaining padawan status I will be on the terminals. If I die I'll loose 48K FS XP, and 200K more if I clone. Do any of you bounty hunters know what its like to grind 248K XP thats worth 1/2 combat XP with a Saber that does only 10-15 dmg a hit without berserk? sound like fun? My jedi will be shelved immediately... do not pass go do not collect 200 hundred dollars.

Let me ask you this BH's... Say it was the other way around... say you guys are penalized (248x2x10= 4.9millionxp) 4.9 million xp for your very first death, and now you have to regain it with an uncerted weapon. Does that sound fair or resonable?

I for one refuse to play my jedi in this currently established system. I don't pay every month to play, in order to be content for someone else. Yes there are honorable Bhs out there, but the vast majority are in it just to mess with someone elses fun.

I SAY ALL JEDI BAND TOGETHER. WE MUST HAVE A SIT OUT IN ORDER TO GET THIS POINT ACROSS. My sitout begins the moment I have that padawan status.
