Thread: Goodbye SWG
I know it seems strange and unbelievable to some people that a person could tame, train and use a huge beast as a weapon or a shield. Its only been done for ages, Hannible knew what he was doing and so did the Romans, not to mention all the beasts of burden in the world.
I have an opinion on TKA though that would not make some TKA like me. The whole thing sucks. Give me a break, I mean really, killing a huge beast with your bare hands , haha. ROFLAO. Unbelievable, just unbelievable. I just could never go for it, Its got to be a little realistic or I may as well play Final Fantasy.
8 months.. the game has been out 8 months.. and there are more bugs and glitches now then ever..
I have till april 3rd and every time i go to log in.. i remeber i am a CH on one sever and a TKM on another.. and i just can't seem to find a good reason to play either.. after 8 months (or more counting beta) I have yet to see a change come thru that makes the game "better, exciting, or balanced" .
But those of you who have waited and just started recently.. take to heart that nothing will change to the way YOU as a community want it to.. i mean just look at the newsletter and that gawd awfull combat R2 unit they so proudly placed the picture of on it.. so without furthering this pointless rant i will now hush.. as i am sure most of you are happy about lol.
you only know what a buggy online Game is when you played Mimesis Online in the beginning.
The bugs in SWG can definitely be endured at the moment.
Since the devs haven't even taken the time to discuss any of our issues in the past year, I will not be renewing my subscription.
I was going to take the time to make a thoughtful post about the current state of the game, but really, what's the point?
IF I thought that there was the tiniest chance that a dev cared enough to even acknowledge the existance of non-combatants, or that TH would ever let an artisan comment past him to the relevant dev (still in the dark as to who our dev is Guru?), or that a discussion with the non-combat community would ever begin - I might care enough about the game to continue. I do not, and I do not.
If JTL gets INCREDIBLE reviews, you may see me again here - if not, hopefully I'll bump into some of you in another MMORPG one of these days.
As things stand SOE has not earned my $150 for the next year, I'll spend it elsewhere.

Hate to see you go.
Ya, I still don't know who our dev is, or even if we have one dedicated to us.
All the best,
Guru
