I didnt say it did.
Man give up go do your homework and go to bed early so your not wasted in class in your local middle school tomorrow.
He asked what made Artisan the likely candidate to be considered the miner class out of all the other professions.
Im not I answered a question not argued with him with symantics.

I figured it was you who was one starring everyone
Too bad they could never prove it ( that im an imbecile). And the whole point to rate thread's are on contribution to the community, wether or not it was a good idea etc.
The majority of the people I have seen in this community are very unconstructive and can be defined as primitive monkeys.
Nice one.
I am quitting the game if there isnt going to be balance or integrity put into the game.
May9th question got postponed a week, and my subscription doesnt end until then so im here for a tiny bit longer.
And as much as you dread it maybe they will bring some balance to the game and omg I will be here forever. Then people are really going to be pissed.
much of the impetus surrounding the proposals to limit harvester use to certain classes lies in the current state of the resource market, the assumption there is that non-crafting professions are supplementing their income by selling resources, supposedly to the detriment of the artisans who, it is argued, should be the major suppliers.
the reason that many such persons have done this is primarily due to the hologrinding. the astromech stats so often quoted in these threads are currently months out of date and do not reflect the current distrubution of professions, and in fact the player pool has likely changed in the months since those statistics were put on the website.
resources were selling quite well for quite some time because of hologrinding but these were primarily grinding level resources mined from high percentage spots with little attention given to the stats on each resource. the buyers were mainly people whipping through the crafting professions as quickly as possible to unlock their fss. this is a capitalist society of sorts and any money-making opportunity will be taken by those willing to take them.
as hologrinding has slowed, so has resource sales (i get this information based on resource sales that are discussed within guild and among friends who have chosen this route), hence the rumored resource glut.
the jedi revamp will be here soon enough and with that, many professions will find that situations change as hologrinding comes to a complete stop. with this, the market itself will change as people choose the professions that they like rather than grinding blindly through them.
for this reason, dramatic changes in the market such as can occur by limiting harvester use is unwise..any presumed problems that exist now, may ultimately iron themselves out as the demand for huge stacks of many resources drops to zero. the market will likely shift to the rare and valued resources that at the moment demand the highest prices but move much slower.
i would not advocate for or against the harvester certification issue at this time for this reason, much of the games problems can be traced to this issue alone. as it stands now, i see nothing but harm coming from it, many professions dependent on resources being limited to personal harvesters will not meet with the demand for the products they produce. I, for one, would not be able to keep stim b's on the market if i was limited to personal harvesters for my starting materials. i can barely keep up now since nearly everyone has novice medic and thus the need for stim b's. and that is but one example of many. in a new system this facet may remain the same or it may not, it remains to be seen.
the entire issue is an important one, but one that needs to be discussed in the context of a functional system in which the laws of supply and demand are not transient as they are now. perhaps the entire discussion should be put off until then because changing something now that may have to be changed again later could take another 6 months and put even more imbalance into the game then already exists now.
That was me who said I did it pday.
But before I say how I just wanted to say your post was flawed in many assumptions you have with the harvester certification proposal. Anyways its not just you its everybody so instead of explaining myself everytime im just going ot tell you that you are.
I started off the day hunting at fort tusken and I wasw there for approximatly 1 or 2 hours. I started solo and ended up in a group of 8 people. I dont know how you ninja loot, because you have to be the person who did the most damage, but I did manage to get alot of loot both soloing and in the group. I made the post a few days ago and I havent been back to Fort Tusken since but I think I made about 300-1000 credits for the various different types of tuskens they have in the cave. Could be more. And in the group I made maybe like 30-80 credits per kill plus the occasional loot that you have to sell anyways to make any money. The palce was crowded but we were still filling the screen with spam and we had very few slowdowns or deaths. In 2 hours you can make decent money. More money soloing but it was a little too crowded for that and I was after all low in the marksman tree so I was getting KS'ed alot so I joined the group.
THen I had the prevelation of becoming a rebel so I could fight off the imperial attack on our server (Eclipse) the day after. So I went to the Rebel detachment camp(rebel HQ on tatooine) and found a rebel mission terminal and started doing noob missions. Got like 500 credits per missions until Ihad the 200 fp then it went to like 1000 and 1400. IT stayed at this level all day too no matter how many ranks i progressed(prolly bc my combats kills werent advancing). So for my 8 hours I put into faction missions doing 10+ missions an hour you can see very easily thats 100's of thousands of credits because you also loot credits off npc's as well as the mission reward. And faction missions are the best bc your always fighting NPC's and not critters. Critters dont drop credits only NPC's do. So I can get rich very easily just using my gun and fighting for a cause.
So my laser rifle I bought and composite armor (plus the doctor buff to even put it on) I still had money to spare. I dont have the best weapon but I have better then normal. The armor sucks and it was dirt cheap. But it offers me 1000X more protection then if I wasnt wearing it. And it has very good stun resists so its more for PvP I think then PVE anyways., Still I can solo my faction missions, kill missions that I can get. I have a hard time solo'ing group missions ( but obviously they arent easily solo'd). Im not master marksman yet, but im just going for Master Rifleman and im not even novice in that yet. I have no problem whatsoever making money off my marksman skills. None at all. And if casual gamers want to complain that they need their afk harvesters so they can sell stuff to make money so they dont have to put in the effort, I say tough you want to be a fighter, you should of picked up an Artisan character. Cant have the best of both worlds for nothing. Not in SWG anyways. Right now you can yes but I advocate the change and balance and integrity we need.
Giamia very nice post.
But with the halt of hologrinding, that means less resources are going to be consumed and we will still have the same game mechanics in place for people to potentially harvest the same numbers.
Wether or not people will noone can say, but as long as the game mechanics allow it, it is a problem wether or not people decide to.
So your post is flawed on a logical side becuase you still cannot say wether or not there is a problem. And your saying that the problem may iron itself out with just as many resources being harvested and elss resources being consumed? Thats backwards.
I gave you a 1 star because you have been a follower of the discussion yet still alck the abaility to understand the logics and comprehension of it. Which to me in my opinion make syour view on this unconstructive, unneeded, and just wrong. IN MY OPINION. If it wasnt I would be a dictator and im not trying to be. Very nice post though and I applaud the effort at least.
