I was originally kidding, but since this turned into a JETPACK REVAMP session.
I put an idea on the BH Revamp Post with this idea.
Granted the current jetpacks are too fragile but flying is fun, but do to effort not worth losing in combat.
MBH should be able to wear a jetpack constructed by a Tailor (using current bh backpack model) Shipwright and Armorsmith (finalizing project) This pack would be able to hold items as normal. The pack cannot be targetted but does have a decay which is reduced by use and taking damage to body. The function is to be able to increase running spead equivelant to Force run by utilizing a thruster capability (it does not fly) when thruster reaches 0, jetpack has a cooldown where thrust regenerates. If decay reaches 0 jetpack no longer functions other than a backpack so inventory is not lost. Jetpacks are not repairable in order to keep craftsman in business.
Original BH Jetpack remains in the game for people that like to fly.
Just a thought since Forcerun is a pain in the butt.

lovely lovely wonder if it will ever happen

yes

a jetpack is just like a bike

the only difference is when you call it, you auto-mount it, and when you dismount it, the jetpack auto-stores (most of the time )

How is forcerun a problem? It does exactly what it's supposed to, allows a jedi to escape.

Oh and one more thing. Have you guys ever seen those sigs that are lines of text and look like they are a part of the post?

The jetpack is a major let down. It was so fun to work towards getting one. The organization. THe large group effort. The combined skills of all the classes involved. Literally millions of credits in armor and buffs etc.

I was finally apart of a group that crafted one. Everyone in the group got to fly it once for a bout 2 minutes. THen it was taken by the group leader and is now stored collecting dust. Ill probably never see it again. And Ill probably never have my own.

Ive been a MBH for 1 and a half years. And Its all I ever want to be. Sadly Ill never have my own Jetpack or Mando armor. ITs too rare and valuable to be given to one group member out of 20 that helped get it. These items are destined to rot in PA halls.

I could unlock jedi 50 times but Ill never have a jet pack or mando armor to call my own.

Why cant these things be quest based rewards? That MBH can work towards. I dont care if you make the grind millions of Investigation XP. Just something that at least I can achieve in this lifetime.

Perhaps a MBH cant even take the quest until hes logged in 6 months or more of time in the profession and then he still needs to cash in Investigation XP at the DWB or directly to Boba fett in Jabba's palace?

Wow content... THat would be neat

Yeah, I wish I had millions to finance a team to get this. Maybe that is the content. Old School big game hunts where they hire 20 soldiers to shoot the rhino, and then just before it dies the Aristocrat Hunter walks up and gives it the Death Blow.

That WOULD solve the answer to force run. But this makes too much sense to be put ingame.
