This is the message that I keep getting whenever I try to open my crafting tools. No, there's nothing in the hopper because I was in practice mode the whole time. I've had other people make new crafting tools for me, but they still end up saying the same thing. I don't think the tools are bugged, I think my character is. I've also tried relogging on many, many times to no avail.

Any of your suggestions would be helpful. This is about the last straw I can take with this incomplete game.

hmmm i was going to say reboot but i see you have already tried that. I have had the problem myself a few times but a reboot always fixed it for me... I have heard other crafters say they had gotten into a situation like that and ended up just destroying the tools and getting a new one to craft with. or have a buddy make one for ya.

even though you are in practice mode and so nothing would have been made did you try clicking the tool then mousing over start crafting see if an option pops up above start crafting called remove item or something like that it might work might not i don't know

Same thing has happend to me.. I rebooted, tried new generic crafting tool, checked for other options like hopper or what ever.. and still cant start crafting session.

This has happened to me before, but usually while I'm on Naboo waiting for the shuttle to take me somewhere else. (ALWAYS a slow lag while there.) I have to log out and log back in and that usually fixes it. You may need to /bug it and see what they say.

At least try to see if there's something in the hopper. If not, get someone to make you new tools. I'll make them for you if you're in Corbantis-Coronet anytime.

The same thing is happening to me, and no matter what crafting tool I open it says the same thing, so there is no way that there is something in the hoppers of every single crafting tool I own (I have 27)

I cannot play the game now because of this.

Start combat with a critter it will reset.

more to add.. I tried the following.. Changing planets, tried different craft tool, tried after being incap, even tried after I got a friendly deathblow, tried logging out.. about only thing left is after patch to see if server reboot clears it. My problem happend after I was trying to craft while running to a mission, half way there I saw a red spot and couldn do anything ( i.e was crafting).. as I wa scream like a little girl along with banging on my keys.. I finally finished crafting then proceded to run very fast away from red dot, at that point I started to get the "Failed to start the crafting session".

I had the same problem in couple of days ago... I tried to make a new crafting session with Weapon & Droid crafting session and destroy old one. New crafting session is working after I use it. That would be good point I guess.

The same thing has happend to my crafting tools. I've bugged it numerous times in the game. But I've always been able to destroy the crafting tool then buy a new one and continue crafting.

No explaination why you would be stuck for good when the rest of us who have experienced the problem have been able to reset.

I've had this happen a few times in similar circumstances (mashing buttons or getting attacked while crafting). Relogging fixed it for me though.

I hate seeing posts like this, because that means it's only a matter of time until the same thing happens to me!
