Thread: General Crafting xp
I normally craft Generic Crafting Tools for quick and easy xp. Is their a better throwaway item to craft to come up quick in the xp?
Power ups are great, yes. Experiment, experiment, experiment. I heard some guys saying as they browsed the bazaar, "I can't find anything". I asked if they would like to purchase a 40-61 CDEF derivative for a reasonable 450. I had a LINE of people run TO me FROM the bazaar terminals. And I tossed in some of the sweet +29.8 power ups that I've been selling for 300 each.
First I was happy to hear that they were adding me to their buddy list. THEN I heard them say, "Let's go back to Tatooine." My first INTERPLANETARY CUSTOMERS!
BTW...first 16000 credit day in sales....

I complete agree with the weapon power-ups way of gaining crafting XP.
I stood next to a weapon crafting station and had 2 weapon crafting tools in my toolbar and 500 metal/500 chemical in my inventory.
whenI hadcrafted and experimented one power-up (I was going for scopes, grips and muzzles) I started up the other weapon crafting tool whilst the first was finishing off the prototype. by the time I had made a power-up with that one, the first was ready to use again.
I quickly made the 3000 XP I needed to get to Engineering III, then I went through all the power-ups I had just made. i threw away the vast majority but took about 20 of the best ones to the bazaar and put them up for sale at around 100-200 credits.
When I logged back in 8 hours later I had lots of emails telling me the auctions were successful, and my crafting XP was creeping up in small amounts which I attribute to people using my items.
I am Surveyor and Engineer. I went to see novice trainer for elite profession in Tatooine. I don't have enough xp for General Crafting to learn elite profession and I have only 65 xp is not enough. Where can I learn for General Crafting?
