I did have to look a long time to find a good crafting macro, most of the macros at this forum is survey macros,

So now i post one myself, hope it comes to good use

/ui action toolbarSlotxx;

/sel xxx;

/pause 5;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype practice no item;

/nextcraftingstage;

/stopcraftingsession;

/createprototype practice no item;

/pause 2;

Here is an explanation of the macro stages:

/ui action toolbarSlotxx; Hereyou select your tool, use a weapon, droid and general items tool, cause then you will have less problems with the next stage. Scrool down to a free row in your toolbar (The bar in the top, where you can use F1, F2... buttons to make things) and put a tools in the first 4 spaces, put the macro in the 5th, the "xx" in the macro is where you write which "F" button the macro is "clicking", remember the first spot (F1) is 00, the next 01 and so on. So if u have a tool u want to use at F1 write /ui action toolbarSlot00; Remember to write the "S" in upper-case, cause the macro wont work if you dont.

/sel xxx; Here you select which schematic the macro is taking, go into your datapad (ctrl+D) and count from the top, count from left to rigth, and dont count schematics that need a crafting station in, cause the macro wont work if you are near a crafting station. Write the number of your schematic instead of the "xxx". U may have to try a couple of times before u hit the rigth schematic.

/pause 5; Here you can enter the resources by double-clicking em, you can make the pause as long as you want, it dosnt matters, just you have time to click the resources.

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype practice no item;

/nextcraftingstage;

/stopcraftingsession;

/createprototype practice no item; These stages makes the macro finish the schematic, the macro will practice, so you will not receive an item, but you will get a +15% xp. Remove the practice no item from both places and the macro will create the item, but u will not receive the bonus xp.

/pause 2; This will make a litle pause, from you are finish with item 1 to you begin item 2.

After the last /pause 2; u can write the whole macro again, but in the start dont write /ui action toolbarSlot00; but /ui action toolbarSlot01; This will make you use another tool, if u use 4 tools, you will have to enter the macro 4 times, every time entering a new toolbarSlot.

I hope u find this post usefull

If u have any questions about this macro mail Ahazi.dane

I've seen this one before but I thought they nerfed the crafting macro?

Anyways, tried it again for good measure...

When I use your macro, after selecting resources, it just says "Crafting Session has Ended".
And that's it. No XP or anything.

Nevermind, it works.
Didn't know you had to click assemble after clicking your resources.

The macro from before did that for you.

U dont have to click assemble, i think its because u did stand beside a crafting station.

Try to stand in open air.

I've checked it.

Its because u stand near a crafting station.

U can insert a extra /nextcraftingstage; after the /pause 5; Then the macro will work near stations also.

But then u can make more items, and have to enter another number at the /sel xxx; so the only advice i can give is to go 50m in a direction and use the macro there, then it will work.

Enjoy it!

the devs will never nerf crafting macros...why? because if they do someone will eventually claim to have got repetitive strain injusry in the USA and sue them for nerfing it. u may laugh but in the good US of A anything goes in court.

This crafting macro seems like good quality stuff, but the only problem is that I can't set it up to take place fully automatically. I wonder if there's a way to get it set up to take the resources automatically without double-clicking. If that was the case, then I would be drastically impressed.

It's not possible. You'd have to use a program for Windows that autoclicks for you, which is a violation of your agreement with Sony and is a bannable offense.

Take care,

you can set up your mouse though so that right clicking will give the same effect as a double left click. Been awhile since i have done so dont remember how. Its not much but does ease the stress on the fingers some.

The only win by making the macro place resources for u is that u can use it AFK, but i think AFK crafting is a bad idea. Its sad to see a master DE that does not know how to make a droid or an architect that does not know how to make a house. So maybe it is good that u cant do that.

U will also save 3-5 seconds per item. Not a big deal. So i dont think it really matters.

Take out of your macrothe /sel ### to select the schematic and put in /myschematic

Then at a command line type /alias myschematic /sel ###

now when you run your macro it will use the alias you made select the schematic.

Why do this you ask??? well, if you are running several crafing tools... ( I run from 5 - 10 )...

when you want to change your schematic type ( ### ) you do it at the command line so you dont have to edit your macro 5 - 10 times
