what resources do weaponsmith need for the elite weapons? i know to make dx2s they need the titanium aluminum which can never be found but what else?

I am on my way to weaponsmith butI have hit a little snag and i have a question. I just made engineering III, why cant i make deeds for the harvesters. It says that i can but the only one that i have a schematic for is a wind generator. Do i have to have more surveying or something like that. Is it like a medics stimpack C that cant be used unless you have other medic skills. Someone please help.

To access the more complicated items (complexity 20+ I think) you have to be standing next to the appropriate crafting station, in this case a Furniture and Structure Crafting Station.

You also need to make yourself a Structure Crafting Tool. Make/buy the tool and stand next to the crafting station above and you will have no problem. The other's that you can make will show up.

So I am a new ch. I have 1-0-0-0. I tried to tame a stupid pig on tatooine. It was a lowly baby of 10 level. It said that it was not tamed. Then it turned purple on my overhead map. Then I treid again and it said I could not tame it at the beggining.

Is the taming bugged? Am I doing it wrong?

I just hit tame and wait for the 3 statements like don't bite me , steady etc. Then nothing. Help me with an explaination of the process of taming and what bugs to ignore. Please thanks.

Well if you got the message "You failed to tame the creature" it means that you did just that .. you failed. As a CH that's part of the job. I've had no problems taming lately. Sure I've died plenty of times in the process lately, but that's just the roll of the dice so to speak.

Keep at it, keep taming the sucker until you finally get it. I've had failures as many as a dozen times. I've also heard of people trying to tame hundreds of times, fail, then finally get it.

Patience is a virtue especially in this profession.

For the grinding of investigation. Is it better to do it solo or with a group, i.e. a pet?

Someone told me that I should max out the Investigation xp before learning a skill. Is the good to do? and if so Should I max out, learn box 1, max out, learn box two? Is it better to keep marks on planet as much as possible?

Terribly sorry if this has been covered. Like I said in the Subject....noob

You can do them solo.

Max out on the investigation when you start at novice BH you can get 10k xp, then learn inv. 1, 2 and a part of 3. Keep grinding and learn 3 when you can, then on to 4.
