I have Survey 4 plus the FS survey tree. Now there is a 384m range setting on my survey tools. In actual practice, there isn't much difference that I can see.
In retrospect, I probably wouldn't take the FS survey tree again. There are more useful FS trees in my opinion.
Yet another glaring example of the crafting community getting squat.

Yeah you get 384m instead of of 320 and can set the tools on 6x grid.
