New to the game got it on monday, and i am fed up been killed all the time so i thought i would try an artisan. I want to know whats the low lvl item to build,that willgetme good exp, fireworks? Also how do i get the chemicals tomake stuff i can survey the meteland stuff. But i dont understandhow i am ment to get gass and metal's.Also whats a good thing to become after artisan, a weapon smith?

Well, where to start.........
It does not matter what you craft to get XP, really.
You get XP based on how much resources you use to make the items.
So, it's not the harder the item, it's how much Steel, Ore etc that get used up.
If you just want the XP, remember to check the "practice" box on the last crafting screen. That way you use the resources, but do not actually craft an item you have to get rid of.
If you want to craft fireworks, go ahead. Just save them all up and put on a show for the rest of us.
To Survey you need the proper Survey tool. You need a Mineral Survey, Gas Survey, Moisture Survey, Wind Survey (if you are ever going to need Harvester power), and Flora Survey tools.
When you use the tools, always walk around until you can dig up the Highest %age.
Look around on these boards for a good Survey Macro, so you won't have to keep clicking and clicking until you can't feel your finger any more.
The good thing is that you can craft while you Survey.
I hate looooooong posts, so I will leave it at that and let others put in their 2 creds worth.

Thanks Fluke i get some things now. Still dont get this macro buiness someone needs 2 write a guild on crafting/surving macros.
Also i hit crafting lvl 2 today and i want i know what items gives the best exp cos its realy slow exp gaining and its a bit boring. One last question if how do i make fiberplast panels for bone armour gloves??

Grind, grind, grind. Get a macro on google or something and grind Blaster Pistol Barrels, withmetal and gemstone.

What is your final goal in being a weaponsmith?
