Aurilian Crafting Quest Guide

Table of Contents:

  1. Auther Information and Disclaimer

  2. Phase I

  3. Phase II

  4. Phase III

  5. Phase IV

  6. Additional Information

Version: 4.0 - Final

Auther Info:

I’m sure there are many people that would love to know how the crafting end of the testing is going. Like combat it to has its bugs to still work out. I love to test quests, I’ve have been testing quests on TC since the Bestine Revamp, on TC1 I use a Novice Fencer and Master Marksmen to test combat quests. Occasionally my 3rd slot usually is the flavor of the day for testing sometimes an Artisan or Entertainer.

**Disclaimer**

Please note that the information below may not be complete or accurate because on Test Center things can always. This Guide is to help those with the Village Crafting quest; if you have a question about the Quest please post it here and I will try to answer it in a timely manner. This Guide contains spoilers about each of the four quests. This guide will not and never include information about gaining experience to train all crafting skills and therefore all information about "grinding" should not be posted here. Questions about grinding should be posted in the forums created for the individual crafting professions.

Experimentation is base on your Artisan experimentation. Also some quest requires special looted components such as: Rudic Ore, Ardanium Energy II, and Endrine ore these items are found off of sith spawned by the combat professions.

3 - Phase I: Repair Sensor Array

The Chief Engineer has been killed, the Village shields and turrets have been destroyed, and the Sensor grid is offline. Quharek needs you to repair the sensor array so they can detect incoming Sith attacks and prepare for them.

Begin by talking to Quharek to start the crafting quest, he is located to the South East of the village in a group of four huts. Head to the sensor station on the East Wall and access the "Base Terminal" which looks like a mission terminal. A box is brought up containing all of the damaged components, remove each component and close the box. A waypoint will be generated to a hut near you (Less than 50m away) that contains the equipment that will de-construct the components and the other to calibrate the them. The Process of deconstruction turns them into a temporary two use schematic. Unless you have already prepared its now time to go shopping. You will need at least 1,000 of each just to be on the safe side:

Shopping List:

  • Rori Fiberplast*

  • Talusian Fiberplast*

  • Nabooian Water Vabor*

  • Yavin 4 Renewable Energy*

  • Steel

  • Copper

  • Aluminum

  • Extrusive Ore

  • Carbonate Ore

  • Lubricating Oil

  • Polymer

* = Planet Specific Resource

After you have collect all the resources break out the old Generic Crafting Kit or weapons crafting kit and build all four of the components. Examine them; note that they are all "uncelebrated" so you will need to calibrate them. Return to the village and head back to where you deconstructed the damaged Components. The other device on the table is used for calibration. Before we began calibrating please beware that each part has a integrity of 100. If the Integrity falls to 0 then the part will be "damaged" and you will have to construct another one. Either by dragging the component onto the calibrator or selecting the calibrate button on the parts radial menu began calibrating the parts. Each part uses a different logic puzzle to calibrate the component; one of these games is lights out. This guide will not cover the completion of the puzzles however if you fail you may be able to deconstruct the part to remake the temporary schematic. Also please note in crafting Experimentation and Manufacturing has been disabled for these mission items. After all four parts are calibrated, return to the Base Terminal. Access the Base menu and install the four components back into the sensor array and activate the grid. Now all that’s left is to return to Quharek to collect your reward, Aurilian Sculpture Piece ¾, and unlock a Force Sensitive Crafting Skill.

Congratulations!

4 - Phase II: Village Defenses

With excruciating labor the villagers have re-built many of the homes that were destroyed in the attack. Thanks to your help the village also has a working sensor array.

The village needs your help again, all of the village defenses were destroyed in the attack and they need to be rebuilt. To start this quest Talk to Quharek who is now near the village supply pile at the Northwest part of the village. He sends you to village lifter Droid "QT-QC" which just became operational. Talk to the Droid to get village defenses schematic. No Resources are need for this quest, only the looted resource containers. Rudic Ore, Endrine Ore, and Ardanium Energy II are the containers used this phase.

  • RefinedRudic - 20 Rudic

  • Refined Endrine - 20 Endrine

  • Refine Energy II - 20 Ardanium Energy II

  • Reinforced Wall - 10 Rudic, 10 Endrine

  • Small turret - 1 Turret Hardware, 1 Turret Barrel

    • Turret Hardware - 15 Ardanium Energy II, 5 Rudic

    • Turret Barrel - 5 Endrice

For this quest make friends with a combat buddy or two, maybe even three or more. Collect the Resource containers and craft a Village Defense. Only The Items in bold under the village defense list can be given to the Droid. You can turn them in one at a time, suggested, or all at once. However you will need to craft at the very least ten to complete this quest. After you give all ten to the Droid you will unlock another force crafting skill. The reward to this quest is still unknown and is believed to be given out after the phase changes, we will know more soon. On a positive note if you critical fail the resources will not be lost.

5 - Phase III: Construct Shield Generator

The turrets and new walls are in place, now the village needs your help in constructing a shield generator. The generator is located in the middle of the village near by is your good friend Quharek.

Converse with Quharek to start the quest then go to the droid QT-QP to pick up the schematic. Please not all Resource Containers are used in this quest. You must construct 20 items to give to the droid. Each Component of the shield takes 10 resource containers so again you will need a minimum of 200 resource containersto complete this quest.

  • Power Supply - 2 Ostrine Ore, 3 Endrine Ore, 5 Wind Crystals

  • Primary Computer - 4 Rudic Ore, 3 Ardanium Energy II, 3 Wind Crystal

  • Regulator - 5 Ostrine Ore, 5 Rudic Ore

  • Shield Connectors - 10 ostrine Ore

  • Shield Housing - 6 Endrine Ore, 4 Rudic Ore

  • Unit Computer - 4 Rudic Ore, 6 Ardanium Energy II

  • Endrost Alloy - 8 Endrine Ore, 1 Ostrine Ore, 1 wind crystal

As with the last phase stats are availabe through the droids, Quharek, and several (Villager) NPC's. Reward Information, if any rewards are given, is still unknown.

5 - Phase IV: Repair the Shield Generater

The village is under attack, the turrets are no use, and the shield generator has failed!Alpoka needs you to find a find a componentto repair the broken shield generator. The item can be aquired from asatelite however you need a method to track it.(On Test Center)You are given a Auto-Assembly Kit which is the same kitsused to make the Gong, Glass Table, ext....

However as I have read the many posts of other you must aquire the kit from a Static NPC at either Mos Entha, Coronet, or Keren

What you Need

  • Tracking Device Assembly Bracket - 1, 2, & 3

  • Tracking Device Casing - 1, 2, & 3

  • Master Artisan Components

Put all the Components into the Kit and the Tracking Device should Assembly its self.

Confermed the Above Info, still need to confurm the bottom:

Next go to a starport, using the radial menu a new tab will appear "Purchase Satelite Tracking Data," purchase it. Go to the satelite's location and "retrieve" the the Data core via a radial menu. Use the radial option on the data core to reconfigure it. At this point you are given a puzzle, complete the puzzle and return to Alpoka

6 - List of Rewards given each phase.

  • Phase I - Aurilian Sculpture Piece: 3/4

  • Phase II - None, Unless you are number 1 in a catagory on the QT-QC droid.

  • Phase III - None, Unless you are number 1 in a catagory on the QT-QC droid.

  • Phase IV - Aurilian Sculpture Piece: 2/4

Just so you know, theorticly it is possible to take all the rewards on Phase II and III if you have money to burn.

The rewards vary from Lightsaber Crafting kits, crystals, and the rest is unknown. Maybe the Sculpture crafting kit.

If you have information please post it here.

Last Revision:

  • v1.1 - Removed Skills unlocked until i have finished Phase II to confurm the information.

  • v1.5 - Added more information on Phase IV and updated

I'm going to add this to the "Useful Artisan Posts" sticky, if you don't mind.

Great work testing and documenting this, btw!

Take care,

Guru

Figures that the 'crafting' quests are still going to require combat skills (or lots and lots of money) to complete. /sigh

No, experimentation does NOT give extra experimentation points.

Hopefully, the resources mentioned will be more common than usual, I've never heard of "Rudic Ore" in my entire career of being a weaponsmith (since last september). Maybe it's not rare on other servers than Eclipse... like Ditanium Steel was a pain to find until february of last year . Wonder if they'll change it to a jedi community, like where you build lightsabers for non-crafting jedi and build cool jedi-ish armor. *Thinks of how crafting would become cool by using the force*

er... february of this year heh....

I'd love to see how the village of so few a jedi would become as populated as Theed

Rudic Ore is actual a component looted from a dead sith, same with the other "Ore" and wind crystals. They appear in the inventory as resource boxes.

The only special materials i know of are in the first phase, happy hunting.

Remember to make friends with a combat char so you dont have to spend 10,000,000cr for 1 looted component when you need over 200 to complete phase 2.

Hmmm, does this mean that certain FS crafting branches can only be opened during specific phases? So if I wanted to get the experimentation branch, I'd have to wait until phase 3?
