I've finally finished my engineering levels in Artisan thought that I could move on to better things when now I am unable to get training in weaponsmithing. So the question here is do I have to complete all Artisan skill before moving on to the Weaponsmith? Or is there something I have missed?

Yeah prob the 23,000 general exp I think you need to get novice weaponsmith, then see a weaponsmith trainer and fork over the 6000credits and get rdy for a LONG road ahead.

let me get this straight then, I do have to get ALL artisan levels including business in order to get novice weaponsmith?

No, you just have to earn another 23k or so general crafting experience to qualify for novice weaponsmith. Best way I found was to make bone armor chest plates, those gave me about 500xp each and can be sold for a good profit if fully experimented.

No you only need the engineering skills from the artisan tree

once you have all engineering skills you can move on to Novice Weaponsmith BUT

you have to have 21000 points of general crafting exp

Unless I am way off base here, this is the way i understand it though ( i havent gotten to this point myself)

This is a stupid newbie question, bUt I can't find the answer in the manual. I have a harvester and in the power line of status it says 1300 (or something) and then in parenthesis (0:57). I know it's not 57 minutes because it's moving too slow. How much time is it saying I have?

Master: Scout

4/4/4/4 marksmen

2/2/2/2 Creature Handler

3/0/0/0 Brawler

We are listing the level we have reached in that profession. There are 4 skill catagories in each profession with 4 tiers in each skill catagory. Say you are training in Marksman and have 3 tiers of Rifle, 2 tiers of Pistol, 3 tiers of Carbine and 2 tiers of Ranged Support. Your Marksman skill would be 3/2/3/2.

What kind of factory doI need to make the identical blaster power handlers?

Only kind of factory a WS needs is the standard equipment factory.
