Nah, Eaca's not a troll. And intended or not, it IS a rather humorous example of how screwed up crafting is, all the hoops we jump through as chefs - not the economy per se.

I was thinking more of the 10k X34's and the cheap BE VB's that are like 12k per stack. But yeah, its messed up.
I do like the pickup line "Hey baby, can I buy you a car?"
Yeah, but you could buy her a small house or two for the price of a car. And some clothes items cost the same as a house (non BE). So the economy isn't particularly realistic. It is a game, after all. ![]()
The thing I can't figure out - are food items so expensive because they need a lot of 'rare' spawn resources? Or is it just that the Chef Profession is such a boring grind that basically, it necessitates that Chef's get outrageous prices or else no-one would do it?
I can tell you as a Master Artisan and a Master Chef, there is no effort or work involved in making the new car. The NUMBER ONE complaint by the Artisans and the DE's when the vehicles were coming out was that it made a top line product that should be a premium item overly simplistic and at too low a level of experience. The only reason they cost what they do is the obscene amount of resources it takes, not the work.
On the other hand, the Chef foods take huge amounts of experience to gain, hard to find resources, and can do wonderful things.
BE enhanced Vassarian Brandy isn't a pick up drink, it is more an engagement present. Try a nice spiced tea for 50cr.
